Keeping KD, KI, Ben & Clax healthy and adequately rested is critically-important IMO.
I strongly suspect any one of them going out for the season could be the difference between a loss in the 2nd round and playing for the title. And of course, they all have significant, historic injury concerns.
Assuming all is well as the trade deadline approaches, I agree with many others here that Marks has to get some insurance, probably starting at the 4-5.sashaturiaf wrote:The streak is finally over, well we were due for a bad game eventually.

That reminds me of a classic principle by psychologist Wayne Dyer: "nothing fails like success."
Meaning (as I recall it), that 'winning' on a regular basis can sometimes go hand-in-hand with the formation of bad habits and drifting work ethic, given that one can lazily point to wins still happening as a defense, if you follow me.
I.e., failing / losing can be super-useful in spurring a team or individual to kind of 'reset themselves,' giving themselves a chance to look at what habits aren't working or where better effort needs to be applied.
I didn't catch the Bulls game unfortunately, but this was my immediate thought upon learning about the loss. As in-- maybe it gives JV & the coaches a little opportunity to correct whatever might have been slightly drifting off course during the mighty win streak. Even if the loss can superficially be blamed on 'folks just not shooting well' and that sort of thing.
Sometimes losing can be good.

We have to win. Time to bounce back in a big way.

I think we do need to handle business here. Championship teams crush opponents missing the kind of talent the Pelicans have.
It's not an outrageous ask imoi think the Nets hold themselves now to a high standard so we should expect a solid bounce back game.

Agreed, but the Pelicans are a very good, big, deep, physical team. I would not expect a walk in the park tonight. Even without Zion, they have the size that causes us issues.
