100% Truth

There is only two ways

1 play Joe Seth and prob qualify for playoffs ( extra bucks for two home games ) but at the same time stopping development of our youth

2 play CamT , Sumner , Yuta , we still might get in into playoffs but at least we know what we have , if we don’t get in or they all will bust, so be it

Yuta is 28 and Sumner is 27. Calling them youth is a bit of a stretch. Joe increasing trade value is more valuable than developing these guys. I don't understand why we play Curry over Sumner, but part of what needs to be done is evaluate the new additions and how they fit. It's easier to do that playing them alongside savvy vets than younger developing players.

Ok maybe not Youth but at age 27-28 they more fits our timeline with Mikal and CamJ then Seth and Joe at 32-31 years old respectively

The question is how can we maximize his talents over the next few years? What can we do to get in the Championship conversation?

Does it seem that Bridges can be the best player on a title level team?

No. But he fits the profile to a tee. Hes an elite level wing player that is good on both ends. Hes a 3 level scorer.

Yes he needs to improve things like finishing and passing for sure. But hes really good.

If you get another high level star to pair with him then the sky is the limit.

In regards to adding a star player, I think the best way is either FA or internal development. Just looking around the league, how many trades for star players worked out lately?

The Bulls traded for a star to pair with LaVine and I am sure they'd want that back rn. The Gobert trade. Paul George is very good but the Clippers would clearly have been better off not making that move in retrospect. How much better are the Hawks with Murray? etc etc. The moves that've worked very well are the role players going to established teams (Gordon to the Nuggets, White and Brogdan).

I think you build up the roster slowly the next couple years trying to find some buy low opportunities like before while relying on internal improvement and Marks drafting acumen.

For next year, before making any conclusions about the roster and what's needed, I'd like to see the roster with another playmaker, Claxton in his second season as a starter, and Simmons as a potential contributor (even as a back up).

Try and draft somebody. No need to push for a star right away.

Maybe its even Cam Thomas.

Agreed, time to play it straight and draft some gems

Until we're knocking on that door of true contention

Exactly, this is the only way to get it done. IDK why guys here want to rush the process and ruin our future for guys like Dame or Beal when they have very few prime years left. It seems like this fanbase hasn't learned a thing over the past years. First it was the Piece/KG trade and then the Harden trade that has handicapped our franchise for a lil. At least this time around we have legit core young guys that we can build with for the future.

Dinwiddie, Cam Johnson, Nic Claxton and obviously Ben are all out tomorrow. Jesus.

Mikal might attempt 50 at this point.

Interesting. They're giving up the Bucks game to be rested for Minnesota the following night. I was wondering if they would do something like this. I just figured Vaughn would have a quick hook if we fell behind big.

Oh well. At least spreading some extra minutes around for Noel, Sharpe & Yuta shouldn't hurt for the playoffs.

And fortunately, we have a backup Cam.
