Idk maybe some form of 3 team trade because the Knicks doesn’t have anything we need.

At what point does Phoenix decide to rebuild? Nets would be more than willing to deal those picks back to you if you trade Booker. Then again, Tsai has explicitly indicated he intends to rebuild to build a long-term winning situation. Don't think he will succeed as the Nets have been a **** for so many years and in different ways. Perhaps you guys will have better luck rebuilding as opposed to us.

Booker would never be on table to you guys. I could see him requesting the Knicks or home to Detroit and us honoring his request in the future.

I don't see him coming here either; I think Nets fans will have to brace themselves for some tough years ahead before seeing any glimmer of light.

I’m ready to embrace it if they find a way to get back either all our picks while keeping 3 of 4 Suns picks, or getting back our ‘25 swap for one Suns pick and getting a bluechip-ish prospect and a decent pick or two for Mikal in a separate trade.

Everyone has a price, Mikal included.

Baseline would be 4 1sts, or 2 1sts and 2 swaps, and probably 1-2 young players with potential that can be developed.

With Tsai saying what he said last Friday, I am on board with rebuilding and developing home grown talent; But yes, the first step is to get rid of Bridges and Johnson and trade them to Houston for all our picks, especially the 25 swap. Houston gets the twins to aid in their quest to contention while the Nets can build for the future. The 25 draft is the one that will be loaded with solid talent and if we can't get our pick back for that year, we will have to hope Phoenix has an awful season to help us land a lottery pick. The nice thing is the pressure is on Phoenix and KD will be in an expiring year so it will almost assuredly force the Suns into a rebuild which means they won't be winning to many games.

If Mitchell extends in Cleveland, I think a great scenario would be Bridges and Cam J for Garland and LeVert, either the ‘27 Suns pick or the ‘28 swap for the ‘25 swap returned, then Cam Thomas for a top 7 pick and select one of Castle, Cody Williams, Topic or Holland.

Orlando Magic would like to chat…..

Any interest in a non Suggs, Franz, Paolo offer?

Something like Anthony Black, Wendell Carter jr and 3 1st round picks?

lol? :wavefinger:

you could offer the whole team and anything you had Brunson is untouchable prolly for any player in the league right now. And there's talk of him signing this summer instead of cashing in next summer. The focus is adding around Brunson

OG is a better player than Mikal so that doesn't make sense either. His defense is invaluable and we've yet to see his full offense as showcased in the playoffs before he hurt his hamstring.

Its prolly not gona happen just wanted to see what your responses would be

Looked like I was close with what it would take to give you guys Bridges.

If Nets decide to rebuild, I would say the picks; at least five firsts.

indeed

I am very happy with this. We now have a 3 year rebuild which Marks is a master at.

LFG!

Giving up 5 first round picks for a 3rd option is certainly choice

Now realizing that every misstep the Knicks have you benefit from will be fun

Genuinely curious to hear MDB’s take on this.

Trade's all, but officially finalized. Let's keep it to the actual thread.
