NATHAN JAWAI you heard it first

Post#1 » by aussienet » Sat Jan 12, 2008 12:19 am

Guy's a big heads up on an aussie talent. News has it he is a lock for the first round of this years 08 Draft. 6-10 285 pds (i did the conversions roughly for youse) 21 year old monster. They call him baby shaq down hear I know you have heard of a hundred baby shaqs before but we have no-one down here who can guard him. He was our Allstar MVP. He is currently averaging 20+ pts 12+ brds he will win our Rookie of the year. All while playing just on 30 mins a night. (i think coach franks cousin is coaching him lol) The guy is super quick and and is a beast. If you have heard of him before or I am late on the news then my bad.

Jawai pronounced JAR-WIRE. Remember it.

Jawai is an abiroginal, just like Paddy Mills who is tearing it up Div1 NCAA for st mary's. I'm mentioning this cos i have played aussie rules with many talented aboriginals. These aussies can play sports like you wouldn't believe. I for one am just rapped to see these guy's succeeding.

CHEERS!!!

Well, I have heard of him before, but thanks for the breakdown.

I am much higher on him, based on what I have read, than some of the other 2nd-tier bigmen in the 1st round of the '08 draft (Hardin, THompson etc.). He sounds like what Nene SHOULD be. We coudl use that, but I'm not sure if another bigman would be our 1st priority in the draft.

I forgot to mention he is very raw. but he will improve with some good coaching. I wasn't saying we should draft him just letting you know he is out there is all

Im pretty big on European B-ball however the problem with promising European players is that they can be either amazing(Dirk Nowitski,Flopo Ginobli) or absolute busts (Darko,Jachaviches or however you spell his name in english).
