wallace?

Post#1 » by dflaschberger » Thu Jan 24, 2008 3:28 pm

not sure if you have discussed this rumor-but PLEASE, consider if this is fair. The protection on the pick is discussable

Wallace and our #1 this year (top 12 protected-top 3 next year, none in 2010) plus curry and Nicols for Collins, magloire and nachbar

You could use a vet down low-wallace still plays ok D and Kidd would improve his game. Collins sucks. plus, you could use some youth and you get our pick.
If nacbar is a no go, who could you sub in to make the $ work?

Bulls, of course, should jump at a deal like this. We don't need anymore picks.

I'd love for this trade. Ben Wallace is the best player we can get without trading away our starting five and if we aren't going into rebuild, why not pick him up for a couple years.

His contract expires when LeBrons does anyways.

only if this trade were possible. Nichols can't be traded with other players. Trade restriction. Not sure I want Wallace anyways. We need scoring down low, not an aging defensive player.

didn't know on nichols. We could just do curry and wallace (not sure how many you have on your roster).

Wallace WOULD have to improve on offense with kidd, jefferson and carter around

please call thorn and we'll call Pax. It is a fair deal, we just want minutes for noah

you throw in Sefolosha, we throw in Wright.

I'd consider...

Nah. The pick that's included should be enough for you guys to go get a replacement SG/SF if you don't want Wright around anymore.

Wallace would certainly look better next to Kidd-Carter-Jefferson-Krstic than Hinrich-Gordon/Sefolosha-Deng-Smith. His deal decreases by $1 mil next season as well.

I could see the Bulls actually wanting to keep that pick and package Tyrus Thomas away now that Noah is proving to be a good pick after all.

Either way I'm really hoping for it because it's fair on both ends.
