marcus has been injured you have to take that into consideration

I agree, Farmar is better than Williams, to date.

I know but you can't argue the fact the farmar has been better than marcus, which is a direct result of playing time. Once Kidd is gone and if we still have marcus by then, then we can have this conversation at that time but as of right now farmar has been better. Believe me I'm a big fan of marcus but there's no denying the answer

Brown, Ariza, Critt, Mihm and two firsts for Kidd and Malik Allen would be a nice trade for us.

It leaves the Lakers needing a backup C though. We would gladly buy out Mihm so he could return to your team (Lakers would have to send cash for the buyout) but the deal needs his salary to be acceptable cap-wise.

Furthermore, Mihm is a one year bird player so he would have to accept the deal (at least that is my understanding). It could possibly be worked out.

Walton has too long of a contract and isn't a young prospect. Ariza fits better with what the Nets would want and Walton also has more value to the Lakers so I doubt that would be a problem.

why do you want LA first rounders? They'll all be in the late 20s with Kidd and Kobe on the same team. The Nets are better off just buying Kidd out, tanking into the lottery, and looking to land a big fish in the offseason. Sign Calderon from Toronto and draft Hibbert and the Nets could be set for years. If you think M. Williams is ready to start, shore up your front line in the draft and free agency. Elton Brand, J O'neal, Shawn Marion, Ron Artest, and Jamison are all UNRESTRICTED in 08. Would any of those guys help your team? Ariza, Mihm, Brown, and Critt do very very little to solve the problems of the Nets. They'd all be bench players. The picks you'd get would end up bench players. Don't handcuff yourselves with 9 **** players just to match salaries.

TO: LA J.Kidd and Udonis Haslem

TO: MIAMI-- Marcus Williams and Lamar Odom and Vlad Rad....

TO: NJ -- Jordan Farmar, Lakers' 1st rd pk, Ricky Davis, Jason Williams, Kwame Brown and Miami sec rd pick

New Lakers lineup:
Kidd, Farmar
Kobe, Fish, Sasha
Bynum, Mihm, DJ
Haslem, Turiaf
Luke, Ariza ... The why for Lakers' Kidd's leadership and easy shots he gets for teammates and Haslem for his Jumper from baseline and hustle.

Miami new lineup:
M Williams, C Quinn
D wade, D cook
Shaq, Blount, Alonzo
Odom,
Vlad, D wright....the why for the Heat... they get odom who is better suited for team and they get a young prospect PG in Marucus Williams along w/ an outside shooter in Vlad that they have been missing since Kapano and Posey left.

NJ new lineup....
J Farmar, J williams, D Armstrong
Vince, R Davis, A Wright
Kwame, Maglorie, Kristic, collins
Boone, S Williams, M Allen
RJ, Nachbar......the why for NJ the get a very nice prospect in J Farmar and a ton of depth for this year and the key is Nxt season--the are at a cap right now , w/ Kidd, of 59. 6 million w/ these moves they could end up at 41.2 million-- as the contracts of all these players are up: J will 8.9 mill, Kwame 9 mill, R Davis 6.8, Maglorie 4 mill, Nachbar 2.5 and Malik Allen and Antoine Wright as well which is a lot of cap space for a rebulding team and they get a first rd Lakers pick and a Miami second rd pk.

As for the Farmar and Williams comparisons-- J Farmar 21 min , 9.9 ppg, 2.8 ast 49% FG, .406 3 pt %

Williams only like 9 min this yrs, but his FG % is .278 and his career in 95 games is .384 not to special in my opinion.

so ur saying that the nets are garabage team and wont make the playoffs

prove that farmer is better than Marcus

i'm not saying there a garbage team but there not as good as they use to be, i think Kidd, Kobe, Odom, Bynum would be an instant elite team compared to the nets team..

Odom, Miller, Carney and Booth to the Nets / Kidd and Evans to the Lakers / Brown, Crittention and Kristic to the Sixers. Works under the cap.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

The Nets would be good with Boone Odom Jefferson Carter and Miller.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
