This is a simple question.

As a Nets fan, who would you prefer here? and why?

solely for the fact that Kidd has gone public and demanded out, I would say VC. I think this team (depending on what NJ gets in return) still has a shot at contending. Depends on the direction we're headed, it's most likely rebuild, but if we can get quality players in return. I honestly think we still have a shot.

I have to say Vince also. If the players supposably hate J Kidd and if he really is the primadonna Del Assandro says he is, he's got to go. I'm thinking this might be the end for Opie also. Without Kidd to stick up for him. It may be the end of the road.

I really don't see the reason for this poll (well I get what you're trying to do but...)

In any case I would presume most Nets fans would prefer Kidd over VC (yes again odd to put that "choice" out there). Kidd has been the face of the franchise for alot of years and has brought the Nets to two final appearances and is a hall of fame player that doesn't have the bad rep VC has.

Even as a VC fan I would say even though Kidd has played for 3 teams in my eyes he is a Nets player (like at the moment I still consider VC's image best tied to the Raptors).

Kidd is still a good fit for a certain type of team (athletic running team, solid jump shooting team, solid scorers who don't need to rely on Kidd to score just make plays to allow others best opportunity to score).

Frankly, I would like it if the Nets can still turn this sucker around in the ugly East and try to get out of 7th , 8th seed and into playoffs which shockingly is still right there. Frank's micromanagement & the rarely seen potential of the Nets roster can still be scary in a 7 game series.

IMO Kidd wont come out and say it but many here have speculated it. VC isnt Lebron or Kobe. He isnt even Wade, Hamilton, Redd, Allen, and the list can go on and on. The guy is fustrating to watch, I cant even image how it is to play with him. Thorn knows what to do. He did it with KVH. but he cant do it this time. Even then Thorn found a way or KVH contract found Thorn away. Now he is stuck with the underachieving player. We are stuck with him once Kidd is gone.

So the reason is simple. Kidd wont say it, but IMO it think it comes down t this TRADE VC OR TRADE ME (KIDD).

You answered your own question twice. This is exactly why I made this poll. Kidd is a Net. He came here he worked hard and the Nets were successful. Yeah Management (Ratner) messed up. We lost K-Mart, not my favorite Net but was a hard working guy, and kittles, hard working guy that defended and ran the break. Then you have RJ which has worked hard to be what he is. Drafted to help the defense, this guys has emerged to because an offensive threat. Not as talented as VC, but worked his ass off to be better. We got rid of KVH, didnt like the idea of getting rid of him, but Kidd and K-mart pushed him out because of the lack of effort and living up to his potential. Collins as bad as he is now, he was important to the Nets before we got two guys to replace him from the starting line up.

I used to watched Nets games before Kidd occasionally. Since the suns were not a local team. I have now become a Nets fan whole hearted since Kidd was traded here. I have fully converted, Personalized NJ Net Jersey, hat and saving up money to buy season tickets whether it is in NJ or Brooklyn. Once bound to this team, I was one of those playeers when Kidd was flurting to go to the Spurs saying "If he wants go, LET HIM." I was ready to rebuild then. I dont know about now. The Nets is a hard nose group then and is now. We just have a pu$$y coach and a pu$$y SG. Everyone else is tuff as nails except maybe M. Will, but that will come.

So why dont you think it has worked recently here? Why does Kidd pass the ball to VC and VC, who is the shooter, then passes it back to Kidd? Dont tell me Frank's Offense. SHOOT THE BALL. SHOOT THE F'N BALL. His attempts are down not because of FRANK's OFFENSE it is becausse HE HAS NO F'N BALLS.

I wish that too, but it is too F'en LATE. VC has ruined this team. HE SUCKS. Kidd deserves to get traded. I hope he goes to Dallas it is going to be exciting to see those guys run up and down the floor, but I wont be following Kidd this time.
