Rebuild if portland, dallas and nets trade happens

Post#1 » by Sharcm1 » Wed Jan 30, 2008 10:44 pm

SO in this trade we send away kidd, armstrong and magloire or allen.
we get back jack, outlaw, george, frye, stackhouse and diop.

new roster

williams/ jack (nice young point guards)
carter/ wright
RJ/ outlaw/ nachbar/ stackhouse/ george
willliams/ frye/
boone/ krstic/ diop/ collins

too many players. but new trades from this

Nets then trade

carter, stackhouse, diop and george to the rockets for tmac and mike james

I know why would the rockets want to trade tmac? Injury prone and they get 2 expiring contracts and two replacements for tmac that can score in carter and stackhouse. and dump james contract.

new roster.

williams/ jack/ james
tmac/ wright
rj/ outlaw/ nachbar
williams/ frye
boone/ krstic/ collins

thats nice.

if not tmac. then another 2 guard with either potential or skills.

Portland is not trading Outlaw, Jack, Frye and whoever else for Harris. Outlaw is virtually unguardable, and is still only 22

How can anyone imagine that Pdx would possibly gut their roster for harris? This is wishful thinking on someones part.

As much as I like Kidd, he is not worth that much young talent at this stage of his career.

Pdx will not do it, now of course if Isiah was our gm, then maybe........

LOL. you guys are not reading right. There will be more players involved. Portland is getting some more players from Mavs. They just don't have an idea right now bcoz it's still early.

Generally, if you hear about a trade, its not happening, especially where NJ is concerned.
