XD.
Not cool dude, Collins is a good person and he wasnt the reason he hurt this franchise, it was Frank for giving him a redicolous amount of minutes.

Still Swift is a much better player.

Yeah it wasn't Collins fault he couldn't do certian things. He went out there and tried his hardest and it was our lack of depth that made us hate him so much.

I'm gonna miss him.

Great for us. Thanks for the years. Always a good soldier.

It's a relief he's gone. For whatever reason, Collins has been getting worse and losing skills over the years. It's like he caught some horrible degenerative virus slowly destroying his basketball skills. :nonono:

It was painful to watch him play more than spot minutes.

guys, this hasn't happened yet. I'll refrain from celebrating until it's a done deal and Swift is with us!

Not a big fan of Swift. He'll probably spend most of this season next to Magloire. Like I would say to Magloire as I say to Swift now...prove me wrong.

I also think the Gasol trade was the holdup here.

Also today, a Grizzlies source said that forward Stromile Swift has been traded to the New Jersey Nets for center Jason Collins.

The Grizzlies and Nets have been discussing a deal for the past week, and it is expected to be finalized on Monday.

We should seriously look into getting Mike Miller.

already thought about it. Personally, I don't think he's worth the money he's getting paid. So I doubt we do that. Matt Carroll seems like a better option to me.

If we haven't heard anything by now, we'll porbably have to wait for the NBA office's to open on Monday.

Yeah, but the Grizzlies are the ones having the fire sale.

How about http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=987~498~2801~2430~558~1778~829&teams=29~29~29~29~17~17~17&te=&cash=29:17

?

Let's at least try to do it. 2 quality shooters for Twoine and a big load of crap , but it's kind of cap relief .

I know very unrealistic but at least lets hope
