You are right, he had to get hit in the Charlotte game to play well. Horrible absolutely horrible logic
Once again VC love confuses the mind.
I was joking. Damn!!!

Still not sold on Swift, but I do see a potential unleashing. I'll give Swift, like Magloire, a chance to prove it.

It would be interesting to see but for a shot blocker I think they actually would get more blocks if they played with backcourt players that can funnel opposing guards to the 'swat' zone and/or play with physical frontcourt players that can cause opposing offensive players to slow down / adjust their shots. Ex. Antonio Davis got a lot of weakside blocks by playing alongside Charles Oakley who while not being able to block Muggsy Bogues was able to slow down his man enough to allow AD to react to it.
I'm not sure how well two naturally athletic but not naturally big bodied guys would do flying around in each other's airspace, not to mention two big men going for blocks leaves guards in a bad spot to weakside rebound against potentially bigger players.

I see our guards, all of them (I don't see them only playing with the backups), keeping up with other guards when someone drives in the paint and hit a wall of SWAT and Swift. I see SWAT having a help blocker on either side as he gets caught in the air a lot. I think being naturally athletic alone will have some opposing players think twice in the paint and that alone will help our struggling defense. I'll also add that I don't expect seeing big minutes out of both of them together just yet as Frank probably prefers Malik Allen still.
