Who got the best Deal?

Post#1 » by Da big3 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 11:42 pm

There has been a series of big trades this year Shaq, Gasol, and assuming Kidd

Out of the 3 teams that traded away the stars and are in rebuilding, Memphis, Mia, NJ, he do u think got the better deal?

Me personally i think we did, we get harris who is one day going to be a 20ppg scorer, this shows how good rod is once again

Now Memphis got ripped off, just ask Popvich,

Miami and NJ, well marion>>>Harris for now but is 16mil more expensive

I think we won but i could be wrong just wanted to see ur opions and this dosnt include the Sun, Lakers or Mavericks

*this is assuming Kidd gets traded

Devin Harris, young and proven. (Also has NBA finals experience)

Shawn Marion is almost 30.

Jarvis isnt proven enough to depend on rebuilding around him.
Edit: Did you forget about Mike Conley and Rudy Gay? Grizzlies would rather buid around them then Jarvis.

You jinxed it. If this deal doesn't go down, I'll blame you more than George, Stackhouse, and Cuban.

Well it's clearly not the grizzlies , Just Capspace and a very mediocre prospect .

Miami getting rid of Shaq was almost a miracle and the got the best player in these Deals although also the oldest.

Still if our trade in some form goes through it would be the best a young player + expirings and draft picks ( althouht not the best )
