1.Hello alx and welcome to the Nets board.
2.Whatever this team decides to do Im 100% positive Thornsky will do the right decission Thorn is the single greatest GM today, the guy drafted Jordan for crying out loud, not only that but he knows he has to put back a contender when the team moves to NY in 2010 so I know the rebuilding process shouldnt be too long, his first action was downright robbing the Mav's for a future elite PG(whose already a top 10 one).
3.Kiki on the other hand is experienced at breaking up a squad and setting it for the years to come so Im confident the demolitian wont be too bad either.
4.On the subject of tanking.............forcing it is wrong (look at Boston) but if losing happens you cant do anything about it and you just have to accept it and the fact that it has its ups.

I wouldnt be too sure about that dude, say what you will about Isia, he's a decent drafter, granted he'll never get a Sean Williams with a 18th pick but he got some good players with top 10 picks.

well if Isiah can convince the Dolans to dish out enough money to send the projected top 20 picks on an excursion to Amsterdam before the draft, who knows, another Sean Williams might fall into his lap.

I'm not so sure about that. The jury is still out on Marcus Williams. He had some moments near the end of last year but nothing to really put confidence in him. For such poor defender, his offensive game must be that much better to warrant a starting role. Can he develop to that point...possibly. Balkman on the other hand I think has developed a nice niche as an energy/defensive guy off the bench. He doesn't do anything that will wow you but he can defend and runs the floor well. Obviously, Marcus has the higher ceiling but I would give the nod to Balkman at this point.

Forget that trade.

Sign me up for that three way trade with Knicks and Miami.

I see no way how Dolan allows Isaiah to pick up another heavy contract. Maybe I'm just crazy but wouldn't it serve the Knicks better to just trade directly w/ the Heat?
