as long as Lawrence Frank is the Coach of the Nets, I guarantee you harris will be ruined if this guy is kept as a coach of the nets and so will our other players, watch antoine wright blossom into a star in dallas because of avery johnsons coaching

I can see frank leaving for indiana after the season and larry brown actually coming in to coach the nets since the 76ers are gonna give cheeks the extension and larry's been itching to coach again

Edit: haha i was just looking at spring training pics so i was thinkin baseball and said the phillies instead of 76ers

Not entirely fair. Frank's young players are whatever Thorn gives him to work with. Thorn had a couple of dry year's in drafting. There's been Krstic. It still burns me we sold Korver's pick. Sean and Boone are looking very good.

I don't know of any young player "blossoming" by leaving Frank's doghouse. Some vets have done aright -- like Anthony Johnson, House, Motombo. But all the draft busts are out of the league.

I'll reconsider if I see Wright blossom in Dallas.

If the core of RJ and DH can't tread water in the East next year, I'd say it's time for Frank to go.

best thing Wright did for the Nets was get our FUTURE pg...as far as I'm concern this is the reason we drafted him...cause we should have Granger in a Nets Uni...

instead I watched a slow progressing sg, who lacked confindence in his shot and consistenlty made some bad TOs...

he looks like he is coming around this year...plays good defense...but we drafted him for his shot...now w. T. Hassel we have defensive specialist...and a pg in Harris for years to come...not too mention a true shot blocking center in Diop (we never had in Collins)...

As far as Frank's coaching...he hasnt helped the Nets w. certain things...but there is no way in hell he can prevent the development of Devin Harris...its absolutely impossible and a delusional statement...

Sean has big upside. I don't think Boone will get that much better.

What do you think about giving up Boone while his value is up because i think this is about all there is to his game. It's also cuz ive always liked Stro. For years ive been waiting to get him but he's never playing with Boone around. There's not enough minutes to go around. Keep the 2 true centers, Nenad and Diop. And go with more upside and athleticism at the 4, Sean and Stro. To me, Boone is the odd man out.

Well said...My thoughts exactly. Also on a side note, everyone around here is talking about Devin Harris as they should, but I think Diop is a very important and integral part of this trade. He's a legit center who can play defense, finish under the basket(alot better then Collins at the very least)and is still a young player. Sean Williams and Josh Boones defensive games should only improve when you put a legit center next to them.

Frank has stumped our youth.

Though M.Will had a bad second half last year, M.Will was most effective with the Pick and Roll. Why doesnt Frank have more Pick and Roll plays with him, Boone and SWIll?

Though Boone looks more dedicated this year, Boone should have gotten more PT last year.

Frank was stubborn about starting Boone this year when clearly Boone was playing better then Allen and Collins.

Does Frank even run plays for the young guys?

Another thing, Franks play book might be limiting these guys, too. Why have a bunch of plays when clearly only a bunch of them work with this team. I hope Frank doesnt bench Harris until he gets all the plays from the playbook. F the BIG BLACK PLAYBOOK!!!!! Let the guys play!!!!!! PICK AND ROLL ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!!!

Frank sucks. Thorn has to seriously reconsider the coaching staff especially since we will be getting more picks this year. We need them to contribute.

exactly. No point in getting draft picks if your coach won't use them or only makes them look bad.

I have no idea why thorn's so high on him. If it's a pride thing, someone slap some sense into him or just fire them both.

And i hope we do have a team because our team has for so long been looked at as 3 guys. Expectaions were set just because we have Kidd, Carter, and maybe even RJ. People forget that there are at least 6 other guys who play. I kind of like that fact that we have maybe 1 star and a lot of solid guys as opposed to 3 stars and a bucket of crap. Hopefully we've come upon a good mix.
