VC's attempt to put back that desperation heave off the backboard was close, that would have brought the house down. Even the miss was kinda cool.

Right now RJ / VC are off the charts. All they need is for solid team defense & just one more guy to have a "big" night and they can win. I don't know how long the "big 2 hah" can keep this up though. Harris might be the answer.

What's wrong with SWat. 5 minutes 2 fouls....he hasn't come back from New Orleans.

Turk & Lewis look effortless shooting the 3's sometimes its frankly annoying lol. The pick & roll between Turk & Dwight killed us, our rotations couldn't match up to Dwight or if we sagged back Turk would make a play. Although Turk with the pivot/pivot was just an awful missed call by the Ref.

but again, this team had not quit. Too bad we couldn't pull this one out. Can't have a letdown against the Bucks. Damn I wish they didn't give up that 1st Indiana game.

I don't think Ager is bad it's just the Frank doesn't know much about him and doesn't wanna throw him out there, just how Frank is

Best part about this game was that we lost.

BTW, the pick and roll killed us because we have no depth at guard and SF. Against the Magic its best to just use a small lineup that can defend Turk and Lewis.

Sean Williams needs to play. I see no reason for Diop and Nachbar getting more minutes.

Finally, I don't think Kidd quit on this team. Yeah, he wanted out but he always gave full effort. He was usually the one guy that looked like he was going all out every game.

well Nachbar is nasty for instant offense, so I can see why Frank goes to him a lot, when your inside out game is working Nach is a serious threat...you cant leave him idle with the ball, he can drive and he can shoot...we'll take him if your rummaging him off :)

Like I said when the trade happened, we're all gonna see what kind of coach Frank really is

I agree with those of us saying Krstic needs to be that 3rd scorer...HE HAS TO BE. But Frank's garbage offense doesn't allow for that...out of every 5 trips down the floor, Krstic should be fed the ball in the post at least 2 of those trips to let him either face up or back his man down for a move. Krstic needs to be getting to the foul line at least 8-9 times per game at least. If we can get him to give us 16-17ppg do you know how much of a boost that will be to the entire team?

Opie would serve better fishing somewhere in some backwater town with Sheriff Andy than coaching this team into the crapper!!!!!!

Avery didn't want to throw him out there either. I'm not saying Avery is the best coach alive, but Mavs fans weren't exactly upset they lost Ager either.

You know what, I'll say it. Ager sucks. Prove me wrong, Ager.

Everyone knows you can't back this up.

No one's saying you should kiss ass to Kidd, but we're suggesting don't disrespect the marks he made here.

I appreciate what Kidd did, really I do, but i won't kiss this guy's butt when he quits on the team the way he did. Real superstar players don't do that garbage. Sorry guys.

we all know this...its old news...who gives a crap about off the court drama...you can make a soap opra out of NBA off the court news...and once again, you need to accept the NBA of today...every big time player has an agenda...loyalty only goes so far in today's league...get over it...

like Rich said no one is saying you should kiss his ass...but your missing the big picture here on Kidd's career...how fast we forget...so it wasnt a flowerful ending...do you want a box tissues?

and as far as real superstars...come on...setting aside superstars who have won rings and have stayed loyal to their team and then even throwing Shaq into the mix of being ring hungry (that distorts that portion)...I'm interested in seeing a list of players who are superstars who have not "quit" (as you said) on their team before leaving for a contender...(specifically at the end of their career)...

I give you one...KG...semi clean break from Minny...

I'm just as not offended as when a star college player leaves college early. I'm not thinking, why didn't they play out their 4 years of college eligibility, to show loyalty to the college.

The world runs on the star system. The stars call their own shots, in every field. Both the star boss and the star employee. Part of what makes many of them great is their search for excellence and not accepting anything less. I appreciate them for what they bring.

Marion fits that, kinda.

I don't think TMac ever quit on Orlando.

Say all you want about AI, but his Philadelphia stats the year he went to Denver were actually better than his Denver stats in some areas.

Not really arguing against your point, but there are some examples of stars that leave their teams without a noticeable dropoff in play.

just because you put up numbers doesn't mean you haven't "quit" on your TEAM. People check out mentally and put up their stats to improve their chances of being dealt and showcase their talent to other teams.

thats not what I was saying...

I'm talking NBA superstars, who so called "quits on their team" before leaving for a team, albeit a contender or another team...

Meaning, they asked OUT of the city they played for...

Marion, was a disgruntled player w/ the Suns, more so this last year...do you think the Suns dealt him to just abandon the best fast break game in the league...fact is, the Matrix wasnt happy, go read the SI article on him months back...the guy never got a play called for him...all his points came off what he manufactured...Marion feels like he can be a legit #1 or a 1a and 1b type player as he will be in Miami w/ Wade...and when Kerr saw Shaq become available or asked Miami if he was available...the got the deal done...a gamble that might pay off...

and I'm not talking about stats...I'm talking about what the trend is...a superstar WILL ask out of their town at a certain point in their career to move onto greener pastures...

AI, perfect example...he went the distance w/ Philly gave it his all, got to the finals...but for him, it was time to move on...actually both parties in that situation felt like it was good time...more or less...

Tmac got traded...period...not really applicable due to age and juncture of career he was at when he got traded...in reference to what I'm talking about...
