These dudes are hilarious. Eagle with that Diop joke had me on the floor. Such stupid humor but so effective.

Ian Eagle and Mark Jackson...you guys are appreciated.

I completely agree! It's my favorite combo. However, I think there are a number of people here who aren't big fans of Mark Jackson.

ian is cool... but i like the way mark calls out the teams and players flaws... to a point where i really wish he was in the coaching staff...

I like both a lot. Marv is solid, but Ian is the best basketball play by play man in the business. Jackson isn't always the most technical, but he makes a lot of good observations. They are both extremely entertaining also. Best team in the NBA (local or national).

agreed..best duo in nba color commentary.

sometimes mark can go wrong by maybe observing too much but that's his job.

one observation he made yesterday: "one difference between marcus and devin...look where Devin Harris picks up his man..full court"

I could watch games just because of them. They should really start acnouncing which games they announce.

The Nets have a solid rotating lineup. Marv, Mark, Ian & Jim. I like that they entertain while still calling a good game and have good banter between one another. I also like that they aren't total homers and will criticize the Nets when it's warranted (Mark esp. does this).

The chewing gum incident was pretty funny but I would get annoyed if they kept doing stuff like that every game. Once in awhile is ok.

I also like hearing Mark on National Broadcasts esp. when he's with Jeff Van Gundy because Mark has a bit of a deep voice & Jeff's pitch goes high when he starts talking excitedly (which he does often) and they argue a bit too which I find amusing.
