There where a lot of passes for shots that where badly missed , and these weren't bad shots many of them wide open .

God damn we desperatly need a shooter .....

It's amazing... Vince's passing abilities just aren't evident anymore, when that was one of his main skills the last few seasons.

We need a shooter, and for Nenad to get his game back.

I think it's time to get off Nenad's nuts. He WILL NOT be back to "normal" this season.

As for Josh Boone... I'm not really sure what more he could have done against Tony Parker, if he just stood there and let TP go right into him you know that the Spurs are going to get the foul call.

The Refs allow the Spurs to get away with more on both ends of the court because of their reputation. It's more noticeable on the defensive end with players like Tim Duncan, but on offense once Tony Parker or Manu get into the lane you basically can't breath on them without getting tagged with a foul.

It's sad and frustrating, but that's the way things have always been.

VC is averaging 5.1 assists per game this year. The best apg he's had as a Net. His 3 previous years w/ Nets were 4.7 / 4.3 / 4.8

I think for the most part his passing ability / decision making is the same as previous years.

The main difference I see this year is
- he's handling the ball less (but it's starting to get more VC heavy again)
- the shooters who lived off of VC's talent are either gone (Moore) / or not
hitting their open shots as regularly (Boki / Krstic)

I'll agree a SG / SF pure shooter off the bench would fit the Nets need so well but that's something they will have to try & resolve in the off-season.

boone shoulda just slammed him. two FT's from tony parker is better than giving him a relatively easy layup, not only for the scoreboard but as a message. If you let him get all the way in there, remember you are guarding the basket and check him. take it personally for god sakes. he doens't get to just jog back after a made layup especially the way Boone just got his ass took. Dude has no toughness. Knock him down and don't help him up. I miss K-mart...

Oh come on Parker has shown so many times he can't be stopped if he blows by his defender . And considering the fouls Boone already had i don't blame him .

Sometimes you just gotta put their ass on the floor for coming in for a layup.

make them think twice about it. If he takes a flagrant 1 then so be it.
Show some god damn toughness... and let them know if they come inside, they're gonna get pounded to the ground.

If Kmart was still here, you know both Manu and Parker would be on their backs.
