I don't know I think I read somewhere it does shift to 2011 because you're not allowed to trade picks in consecutive years... Not sure about this though...

I'm not too sure about it either. That's why I wrote I think. If our picks move and Dallas makes playoffs this year, then I'm ecstatic.

If Dallas makes the playoffs this year, we get this year's pick and the 2010 pick.

If Dallas misses the playoffs, we get next year's 2009 pick (this year's is lotto protected), and the 2011 unprotected pick. That keeps in line with the rule of not trading consecutive #1's.

I always thought it was by name of year with conditions not affecting unprotected picks. I'm so psyched now. Where does anyone see Dallas in 2011?
