Guy's a while ago i told you about this bloke. It was originally said he would be a second round pick. Reports also said possible late first round. Well since he arrived in the States (las vegas i believe) His stock has gone up reports I'm getting have him a lock for the first round. he has been described as an elton brand type player.
My proposal is this.
If, and its a big if, we keep our picks i suggest we take the best available talent at the 10 and Jawai with the 21st.
we will lose Diop now and swift after next year this will clear up space for him to get some mins.
Thoughts??
P.S I don't much of a clue on prospects in this years draft. Just heard of the main players and the players who did well in the tourney.
SO BE NICE!!!!!!!!!

wow i think we need a tough guy like him, i think we should get a perimeter player with the 10 if we want to get him at the 21.
we need that tough nasty inside presence, and i think hes the guy, wow 6'10 275!!

I'd rather try and package the picks for a talent than can contribute right away but i agree with drafting perimeter @ 10 big @ 21 unless there is a big that cannot be left on the board at 10(like this kevin love joker, who i am not sold on)

Like I said in my original post I don't know who else is out there. But just so you know I think he will have more of an impact than bogut. He won't have the finesse of bogut but he will bang and contribute.
The biggest thing that impressed the scouts was his quickness both in footwork and up down the court. Also his range about 18 ft also raised some eyebrows.
This is a guy who was told to work on things to improve his game. He did it in spades. He will see the fruit of his labour this draft. Even if he doesn't get drafted by us I will still follow him closely next year.

But it doesn't look like we're picking a perimeter player with the 10 pick. What perimeter player is there in the draft that is worth the 10? As far as the reports go, management is looking at guys like anthony randolph, arthur, love, gallinari. Love and Gallinari can shoot i guess. Love was hitting 3's in the tournament.
