I'm not too concerned right now. I honestly think we're gonna try to move Krstic in a S&T for a guy who can start at the 3. Either that or package Stro/Marcus Williams for a SF. I think we have the assets to go after Al Harrington now since RJ is gone...too bad not too many people on this board want him like I do lol.

Or try to package Stro/others to GSW for Harrington (10million expiring in 2010)
Both of those moves keeps us competitive and still in line for the free agency of 2010.
Al Harrington would be nice. Would they accept Stro & fillers?

Re: Who Starts at SF?!?
Right now, I'm hoping we can acquire another quality SF whose contract doesn't railroad our '10 capspace plans.
But in the absence of that, I'll go with the starting SF from a former Western Conference Finals team, Hassell. He plays great defense and doesn't need to score to be effective; once Yi and Devin settle into their increased scoring roles, we could use a stopper at SF. Bobby is a good defender, but I'm not counting on him being healthy enough to start consistently.
I absolutely LOVE getting CDR with the 40th pick, but if he's ready for starter's minutes immediately, I will be pleasantly surprised.

Only problem with Hassel is he's like Bruce Bowen in a way. Plays solid defense but isn't the most consistent player offensively. Starting him would definitely put a lot more stress on the other players on the floor to score. He's not anemic on offense but I think we can find a guy.
P.S. Only reason I keep bringing Harrington up is because his contract ends after the 2009-2010 season and I think he'd keep us competitive now that RJ is gone.

Too bad we don't have the CAP room to sign him...
I think a lot of posters on this board don't understand how the CAP works.

Actually Bruce Bowen has one skill that makes him a viable starter in a championship caliber team despite his shortcomings offensively: he's a good 3 point shooter (albeit from certain spots only). He's been close to 40% from beyond the arc for the past few years now. Hassell appears to have declined in that aspect. Hassell really doesn't give us anything that Toine gave us, except he might be more heady than Wright, but less athletic.
