Would you like it if the Nets acquired Hedo Turkoglu? IMO< he would fill the SF spot beautifully, and his contract end in '10, so he won't derail the efforts of Thorn and Kiki to go atfer a FA at that point. Also, he can opt out of his contract after '09, so he might be a risk, but at least he'd come off the books.
There are many ways to go about this deal, but what about:
Boone + Marcus + Krstic (S&T) for Turkoglu.
Harris, Carter, Turkoglu, Jianlian, Lopez sounds like a nice lineup to me.

No thanks. For some reason, I don't think Hedo would be as succesful under Frank. VG used his strenghs to play the system. Hedo on the Nets would be a 15 ppg guy IMO. Plus, Boone is awesome. This is a good trade though. Orlando would accept this.

I'm fine moving some players for Hedo. Problem is moving Krstic AND Boone makes that we have a front court that has really only played like 40 career nba games basically (I never include Stro in these stats cause he is a garbage time player). I'm fine with a package including Nenad or Boone but not both.

Re: Hedo-nism
Yes, but how many young players can get minutes here?
I guarantee, we WILL be consolidating our frontcourt depth before the season starts, and Marcus will likely be leaving with him. At this point, Boone and Nenad have to be considered backups, and one of them may end up a 3rd-stringer, with as much promise as Sean and Ryan show.

Re: Hedo-nism
I have another version of this trade, with us giving KVH's expiring instead of Krstic. ORL fans seem reluctant to move Hedo, but feel that a KVH/Boone/Marcus/'09 1st wouldn't be a bad haul. Would Nets fans be amenable to that substitution?
