Would NJ trade......

Post#1 » by Neon1 » Thu Jul 10, 2008 9:24 pm

We have a where will JJ Redick be traded to poll on the Magic Board, One of the deals is a Tony Battie and JJ Redick trade to Jersey for Stro Swift and Josh Boone. On Orlando's side the deal is more of salary dump for next off season to make room under the lux tax to resign Turkoglu. Battie makes 6 million and comes off after next season (doesnt interfere with LBJ chase) Redick makes 2 million and also comes off that off season (or earlier eto).

Be so kind as to come click a couple buttons in the poll for insight? as to guage interest? Or disintrest?

A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.

Would never happen.. Stro is already a free agent this season so no point in trading him for Battie.. Boone's upside is bigger than Redick. All Redick will ever be is a shooter at best in this league.

Down with NJN since Kenny and Derrick

Not in a million years once you ask for boone. Plus stro's expiring if more valuable than that. I'd do JJ for Marcus straight up but nothing more.

Not happening. No one really wants JJ Reddick. To get Boone it would probably take Courtney Lee (and then, only because of NJ's PF/C depth and lack of SG/SFs) and I doubt Orlando fans would like that.

No one wants Redick. Honestly the only trade I'd do for Redick is JJ for the trade exemption the Nets got from the Kidd trade. It can also be tweaked where Orlando can get Ager included if they want.

Any other deal and you can keep him.
