I think Brook Lopez will be much better than

people think. I think you guys got a very nice gift at 10. I think it will take him a couple of years to get it all down but this guy has the potential to be a 20-10-2/3 C REAL potential and to get that at 10 is a bargain.

I don't know about that but he should be solid .

If he and his brother would be combined i think that player would have been a number one pick .

My ideal is for Lopez and SWat to be good enough that they can mesh into a good 4-5 tandem. Lopez clogging the lanes against opposing bigs & slashing swigmen/point guards allowing SWat to alter or block shot attempts more often, and Lopez / SF swooping up for defensive rebounds afterwards.

If Lopez can get an average post game / have decent hands in the paint, hit FT's at a decent clip & consistently make open 15-18' shots he will excel on offense with the Nets. I'm more worried about his defense but he seems to know that at least early in his career he will get minutes because of his defense and offense is secondary.

Amazingly, he is not worried about his offense. His concentration is on defense!

I thought he had an above average post game. I dont think the Nets are worried about his offense.

I still can't believe he fell down to 10 for you guys. What an excellent selection. I think he would have fit better in Minnesota than Love will. I think he could have worked in Seattle, but they're probably scared off after grabbing Cs the last 4 years, it seems. I think he could have worked well in Memphis. I think Milwaukee could have grabbed him and played him and Bogut together effectively. I think Charlotte would have been a good spot as well,next to Okafor. So for him to fall to 10 is amazing.

I hope our 3 rookies play with chips on their shoulders. As long as it doesnt consumer them, they all have something to prove. Anderson has to prove that he didnt get picked too early. Lopez and CDR have to prove that those other teams made mistakes.

I think Lopez fell exactly to the team that needed him the most . We haven't had a Big guy with good post moves in like ..... have we ever had one `?

Hell he even has a nice shooting touch , didn't know that.

This guy is going to be really good. I read about his summer league stats and how he's playing. It has been said that he dominated Noah of the bulls during summer league.
