Ager

Post#1 » by Great » Wed Sep 17, 2008 6:55 pm

I was looking over the Orlando Summer League Box Scores, Ager only played one game.

Did he play in the Rocky Mtn Revue?

Doesn't look good for him.

He's the most likely candidate to get cut if someone gets cut.

Please cut him... I'd rather have Dermarr Johnson as the Nets' resident scrub, at least he can shoot the rock.

Hoopsworld is saying DeMarr Johnson has been invited to the Washington Wizards training camp.

I haven't seen much of Ager & haven't heard any news about him in the off-season. He doesn't seem to be expected to contribute to the Nets this season despite arguably being the only natural 2-guard behind VC on the roster. It looks like the Nets are willing to throw Dooling and Hodge (looks like he is getting closer to getting a roster spot) in the 2-spot rotation before Ager.

I'd like to see him make some noise in training camp / practices to make it difficult for Frank. Ironically he's like Antoine Wright (coming out of college with rep for good athleticism & good shooting that has not yet translated into the NBA game).

I agree

Hodge will help the Nets win games.

I like his defense, energy, rebounding, and toughness.

I'd take a PG to SF rotation of Harris, Vince, Simmons, Hayes, Dooling, Hodge, Roberts, and Hassell.

Man, I can't believe Ager has warranted the respect of his own thread.

He isn't even a fan favorite with a cool nickname.

Things really have changed in Netsland.
