Quick Note about Twin

Who would have ever thought?

Love was pulled from the starting lineup Sunday at Denver in favor of Jason Collins.

I say we trade Swift for collins. he would be a better Practice Player for Lopez, Boone and Williams then Swift. The only issue is the Frank might give him too much PT, but maybe this could be a reason why SWAT's performance declined later in the year.

Collins clearly matches up better against Kmart or Nene. I don't think this will be an everyday occurance since Twin can't even do a lay up.

I really don't care about trading for Twin again even though I'm a supporter of him. I'd just find it hilarious if we traded back for him. That would probably be the first time in NBA history that the same players were traded for each other twice.

What does that say about Love. I know Thorn liked him and thank god he didn't drop to us I would have been pissed if we drafted him. I think I rather have Anderson.

It doesn't say anything. As touted as he is, he's still a rookie. Twin is one of the best man defenders in the NBA (I still stand by that). Nene and Kmart are both very physical and they probably felt Twin would handle them better. Says nothing about Love or them losing faith in him. I guarantee if you asked their management which they'd rather have if they had to give up one, 100% of them would say they'd rather have Love. I wasn't as high on him for our team as others, but the kid can ball. He's just a rookie, it was a straight match up decision, no need to look deeper into it.

I was slightly annoyed when we drafted Anderson because besides the little tidbits I read, I did not want him. Think about it now, I'm completely satisfied with our draft and happy we have a guy like Anderson.

Let's get it done. Collins could play 0 minutes a game and I'd feel happy knowing that he won't cry over it, while Swift hasn't had any public blowups that same certainty isn't there...

But you and me both know with Frank as coach he will not play 0 minutes. :x

Right on, vc4pres. I lobbied for years to get Collins off of our team, and I would be sick if he made an encore appearance.
