Nets Home Games

Post#1 » by Revolutionistt » Wed Dec 24, 2008 6:11 pm

How many of you actually attend the games? This team is brilliant on the road and suck at home and I still strongly believe its because there is no home crowd. im not saying that well beat the lakers and cavs at home if we fill the arena, but they should be beating teams at home like the knicks, heat, pacers, and wizards. what did we lose to the wizards by like 20??? im a season ticket holder and if i dont attend a game i make sure one of my friends do so my seats are always filled.

I promise, I would attend at least a couple of games a year, but I live in Kansas. :(

I sure hope we can raise attendance soon. It's not cool that our own team doesn't even feel the warmth of their home venue, but it's not the fault of those that do attend. We just need more support.

I'd attend more games like I used to if I didn't go to school in PA =\...

I've been to all the home games on this current home stand and I have to say that I hear myself over EVERYONE. No one chants defense unless the Nets are up or in a close game. People cheer just as loud for the visiting team as they do for the Nets. And that Rockets game was one of the worst games I've ever been too. No energy at all on the court or in the arena. It was just terrible. We need to fill these seats up! I don't care if they give tickets away to little 5 year olds. It's just pathetic.

You guys are lucky because you have the chance to watch live. That privilege doesn't apply from me since I'm from another country.

The home crowds are pathetic.

I feel like people were always afraid to cheer or heckle at Nets games, even when it was selling out.

It's like people are embarrassed to be fans and be vocal in public.

Bunch of hom......

When I would be at games standing up yelling and cheering(not cursing either, I find much better and creative ways to heckle players and coachs) people would be looking at me with dirty looks, telling their children, "just ignore him, it's not nice to make fun of special people" :)

I'm sorry, but Nets fans are hardly even that.

Take no offense to this guys, its pretty obvious everyone on here are true fans.

I hear ya...I'm, the type of fan that screams w/out any care, like if I was watching the game from my living room...

I used to work for the Nets years ago...my issue has always been getting seats where I would really enjoy the game...any time I go, I buy tickets 15 rows back or closer on either side of the court...worse case scenario, the section just before the inside corners...IMO, I rather watch the game from home on my HDTV, if I cant get tickets where I want to sit...as much as its nice to see the game in person and be there, I have to be able to sit somewhere I can enjoy the game...the Izod Center just has a lot of bad seats...(sorry if I'm picky, but I've been to enough games where I can say, I would of enjoyed the game better from home)

In the near future I can see me buying a partial package, even in Brooklyn, which should obviously be night and day vs. the Meadowlands...For me, my schedule is the biggest obstacle in getting to the arena...

I live in NC but am originally from Jersey. Everytime I'm home visiting family I try to get to a game. My friend knows a few people that work for the Nets and got me tickets to the Nets/Miami game last weekend. I try to get to at least 1 game everytime I'm home. Even with the loss, I loved the game, but yeah fans don't cheer unless it's close. My friends still go a bunch though. They probably hit up 5-10 games a year. They have the same complaints. I don't see it getting any better if we stayed at the IZOD or moved to Newark, unless we become a title contender for more than 2 years haha.
