I'm sorry. I'm absolutely mystified right now. The kid has played 9 games. Shoot me in the head. This is the most (Please Use More Appropriate Word) argument I've ever witnessed on this board in my 3+ years here. Seriously, shoot me. we're arguing over NINE GAMES. If his name was Stromile Swift (not knocking him, just saying a guy with potential that's been in the league forever now) you'd have something...but seriously, oh my god. I'm completely speechless. Oh my god. He's played just over 100 minute this season, holy jeez. shoot me now. I'm sorry to sound mean, but you people need professional help. Oh my god.

You talk as If I said that CDR was already a certified bust or that he will never amount to anything.

I just said that in the minutes he has gotten he's looked WAY TOO FRIGGIN PASSIVE, which he's been.

I actually agree with Jeff - to the extent that CDR hasn't YET shown the aggression on the offensive end that I thought he would or that I'd like him to. Emphasis on the word "YET". The guy needs time to find his groove and his confidence. I'm willing to give him all the time he needs.

Another member said earlier that we need to be looking to get another two-guard to back up Vince...well, to do that, we should be looking to get rid of at least one of the following first....
- Bobby Simmons
- Jarvis Hayes
- Trenton Hassell
- Mo Ager

Despite the positions they currently play/back up, they're all natural two-guards.

^It's definitely either Trenton or Ager that's gonna go. And I agree with jeff, CDR looks kinda nervous whenever he has the ball

I don't really think he's had much of a chance to be aggressive. Not enough touches in not enough minutes in not enough games. I don't think anyone here's calling him a bust (that would be stupid), but when he is given those very limited minutes (Or seconds. He played a grand total of 4 of them against the Bucks), he hasn't made his mark. Pending Frank doesn't let loose on his chain, CDR has plenty of time to show something.

We don't want to take on salary beyond 2010 unless it is a very small amount or if that player is really worth it.
OKC has too many.

So.........

NJ sends:
Stromile Swift
Sean Williams

NJ recieves:
Earl Watson
1st round pick(either San An's or Denver's)

Thoughts?

OKC needs help at G. This gets them 2 airhead F's who battle for 3rd string minutes..at best. Hardly worth giving any sort of pick.
CENSORED... No comment.

I think Watson has enough value that OKC can dump him without having to add in a negative swap such as Sean for a pick.

ditto...

I want more from CDR...I really dont think he has gotten the needed minutes to really show what he can do on NBA court...but at the same time, in the minutes he has played, he looks passive...but guess what, a rook coming off the bench is more likely to look that way than not...the only way he's gonna get over that hump is with more minutes...
