Quincy Douby got waived last night
Does anyone think the Nets will pick him up?Does anyone even want the Nets to pick him up?I would like to bring him back to NJ.Of course we'd have to waive someone unless we pull off a 2 for 1 trade by 3pm.

I'd be fine with bringing him in if we made a deal that opening a roster spot. Other than that, whatever. It's not like he'd get ample playing time. I loved him at Rutgers, but I am burnt out at this point and don't even care right now.

Burnt out, as in I just mentally shut down the last 48 hours thanks to the rumors about Vince to Portland for their garbage (or what you consider Portland's garbage) and Raef.

got waived to make room...Rutgers fan and Alum...loved him in college, but I'm not sold 100% he's an NBA player...he has a lot of work to do...and it really depends on what the Nets need...I'm not against...but you got to weigh your options...all for a 10 day to start...

Andy is his agent? I thought he was represented by Keith Glass?

Re: Quincy Douby got waived last night
Yeah that happens a ton in sports. Players can break contracts with agents with no consequences whatsoever. I don't really know many other industries where a guy can walk away from a signed contract with no ramifications. If you read Keith Glasses book that came out last year, he argues about it. The same thing happened to him with Robert Horry when Big Shot Bob first got drafted. It's a shame cause Keith is a good guy too. Very knowledgable person about the game and business side of it.

That's what all the kids on the street are saying now a days in place of the word wack.
example:
One woa day to the other, "Yo you see that clown fool's new Kia?"
Other woa day, "Yeah, homeboy's copped a Quincy Douby ass whip."
Both erupt into laughter.....
