Everywhere I look, he's usually Top 4 with Rose, Mayo, and Westbrook.

What I liked about this game the most was that Frank actually made an adjustment early in the 4th with the zone against a team that really can't shoot without Redd. Not to mention, VC AND Harris both had off nights. However, as far as Frank goes, I think Sean should've had more time against RJ and Villanueva.

I love the first post!

Lopez played great tonight. Dev clearly wasn't healthy, but I like that he said "f it" and attacked the rim toward the end anyway.

Loved seeing this team show heart. When they got down by 13, I was like "here we go again", but it was great to see them rally. Some big 3's, and I like that VC made up for his bad shooting by going after rebounds and getting other players involved.

Also, I have to admit, I was nervous with Frank's strategy at the end, but I admire him for the guts. Glad it all worked out.

Damn, I missed almost this whole game.
Only saw the 1st quarter and forgot to DVR it.
Great win though.
I was at a friends house and watched it through the yahoo auto update.
Great win.

Well now we go into the toughest stretch of the season.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. When Yi picked up his 4th foul i thought Lfrank would put Sean aka SWAT is back in to guard Villanueva.Instead he rather have Bobby Simmons as his powerfoward and give the other team the advantage.Lfranko has to stop with these small lineups.Sean should be guarding the 4 at all times, i thought the same thing vs NO he should've been guarding David West. He's the only big we have that's quick enough to guard these guys.

Good Win but still many flaws by Frank.

Why not give Lopez the ball in the post against Allen towards the end of the game? The kid is having a monster game.

What is Franks fascination with SMALL BALL? You have lead why are you not making some defensive maneuvers. Get SWAT on Baldy. I dont get it.

I dont get Frank's rotation. Today SWAT. Tomorrow Anderson. Tonight AGER.

POSITIVES
You see what I have been telling you. Lopez in the post the best thing that can happen to this team. He can score in the post. YES, He can also pass out of the post. I dont understand why Frank doesnt put him there in the beginning of the shot clock. Have Yi do the pick and rolls!/pops!!!

Were we watching the same game? In the end, Lopez got the ball the vast majority of the time until the Nets started hitting threes. The problem was that he should have gone to him earlier. (more consistently)

Go Nets!
Even if we dont make the playoffs Im a proud fan this year we definately overacheived.
Either way Im very anti-tanking establishing a winning culture will help this team's future a lot more than a better pick in one of the worst drafts in recent years.

Actually we were watching the same game. They stopped giving Lopez the ball and kept running the pick and roll.

Lopez got his touches whether by design or not vs the Bucks...the Nets, Harris, Carter...ect...were utilizing Lopez nicely...Devin has has been driving the lane and throwing the ball over the top of defenders nicely as Lopez rolls to basket...this is improving and the frequency we're seeing it is increasing...

as SIC said...its still not enough ( u get up to around 15 fg attempts and I start to get satisfied)...I watched the Buck/Celtics/Magic games all in a row...you get to the Knicks game last night and you actually see the Nets go into Lopez w. a purpose, taking advantage of Knicks smaller bodies...I just dont understand why we dont do this more often or w. more consistency...its like we forget about him...

but Jman, I think WE all know how easy this is...Frank is making this more difficult than it is...the awareness is there, but not where it should be as far acknowledging Lopez's post presence...

now as far as his rotation...I've been pleased w/ Frank remembering how effective Sean can be for this team...how his raw talent on the defensive side can energize the Nets...even if its only one thing I can truly give him credit for>>Sean over Boone is an easy decision for me and its nice to see him sticking with it...Boone will be utilized accordingly...foul trouble, bigger teams, ect...but Ryan getting less minutes just means Jarvis and Billy are shooting better...playing decent defense mixing it up well...you can see Jarvis emerge as the team's true 6th man...the veterans are getting the nod right now, minus the Bucks game where Yi and Bobby got into some foul trouble...

Return to Brooklyn Nets
