Game Thread: Lakers at Nets (3/27/2009)

Post#1 » by MeMe » Sat Mar 28, 2009 12:37 am

Devin is playing great right now.

Has there ever been a time when our bigs haven't gotten punked out of rebounds? I swear, we must lead the league in opposing teams snatching rebounds away from our bigs.

Also, could the Nets do me a favor and hit a few of their free throws, and make at least some of their threes? Thanks.

It'd also be nice if they'd stop throwing passes to the crowd.

The Lakers aren't playing top-notch defense right now. We're getting into the lane like nobody's business. If we were doing better in the areas that I mentioned, we'd probably have a big lead right now.

I hate 80% of our players...

This s*** was tied 57 - 57... 5 minutes later 81 - 59...

Incredible. I'm done watching this team this season.

lmao, how many times has this team not been horribly outscored in the 3rd quarter? I'm guessing it's less than 10. It's kind of what we do best.

6 out of 15 from free-throw land.
3-16 from 3-pt land.
19 turnovers.

And we're not even done with the 3rd quarter yet.

Nets, you suck!

Someone needs to beat the hell out of the next Net who makes a dumb turnover.

^Marv: [Boone's] done a good job.
*Boone turns the ball over*
Marv: Let me take that back.

lol@that Lopez shot.

Lopez needs to learn how to do that "dribble, dribble, pull up closer" move that Tayshaun Prince always does.

So Gasol scores his season high on a night where Kobe's fg percentage is only about 25%.

So very Nets-ish.

Knicks and Charlotte won tonight, by the way.

lmao@Odom answering Beadle's question about Jay-Z seriously. Like she doesn't know how influential Jay-Z is to this generation?

The amount of "airball" chants that Devin got was equivalent to the amount he'd receive at Staples Center. I hate the infestation of Laker fans everywhere. They need to catch Boone's beatdown.

I just hate how a Nets home game is rarely a Nets home game... As much as I like Jersey, there's not a lot of sports loyalty around here.
