Final Possession of Last Night's Game

Post#1 » by SeabassP » Thu Apr 9, 2009 8:20 pm

I thought this post was pretty cool. This blog breaks down the last possession frame by frame. It also has a video of the play. I would copy and paste it here, but it is way too long for that. Anyway, check it out, I think it could spark some good conversation.

Personally I think that VC should have taken it to the rack, or pulled up for 3, not that silly long 2-point jumper...

VC definatly had the lane then should of kicked it out to bobby simmons like every other time..but instead he settles for a terrible contested shot?

What I think happened was he wanted to shoot a step-back three, but got lost on the court. Once he got Peirce on his hip, he should have adjusted and just taken it to the rack...

OR, he wanted to do what was best for the team. He helped us get extremely close, but knows that the best thing for us to do is better our draft position.
