Keyon can play the 1 or the 2 very effectively. I didn't realize that when he was coming over in the offseason.

As for Yi, I have no idea what is up with him. I want him to play and I want him to play well, but it just doesn't happen. It looks like we are going to have to take a 4 this year in the draft.

NJ will be very solid next season.

That said, who knows what Torn and Kiki do with Vince and how our lottery pick pans out, amongst other many variables.

This team as constructed with at least a solid pick is a 42 to 45 win team even with this abomination of a coach. We will see how things pan out.......

KEYON DOOLING IN DA BUILDING.

Though I'm not sure I want Keyon to be the Nets full-time starting 2-guard.

I'd give keyon an extension, and trade harris, and 2 1 picks to get the overall #1 this year. I'm that confident in Keyon. Plus, my name is Keohn, so I'm a bit biased.

Nope! Not kidding. I'm trying to make a deal that both sides would do. Blake Griffin or D Harris is the question. I'll take my chances with a Lopez / Griffin front court and find a small guard for the future.

I saw someone suggest Devin for Bosh. Would you do it?

I see where they're going with that, as we desperately need a good 4, and I have a lot of confidence in Keyon. I still don't know that I'd do that, though. I think the Devin/Lopez combo has a lot of upside.

But if we were to do that, we'd also still be getting a good draft pick. Maybe a good small forward.

Thoughts?

No, not devin for bosh. I guess this conversation is moving to a different place than PG for the Orlando game. I've added to that, so apologies. But yeah, I value Harris more than Bosh.

You'd trade Harris for Blake Griffin, but you won't trade him for Chris Bosh? Really?

I was thinking about this last night. Keyon is not old by any means and Devin's value is at an all time high. A starting lineup of:
PG Dooling
SG CDR
SF Vince
PF Bosh
C Lopez
with a bench of Anderson, Hayes, Boone, SWAT, Yi , Simmons and Najera is pretty damn solid.

As long as Bosh signed an extension, I would absolutley do something like Devin and Hassel for Bosh.
Then take the best point guard available in this draft such as Maynor, Lawson, Flynn or Curry to be the main backup and to groom as the PG of the future.
Plus we still have Simmons expiring and numerous future picks and young guys like Yi, Boone and SWAT to swing a trade for a big time 6xth man, this team is an instant real deal contender that still has an out of this world future, figuring even Bosh is only like 25.

That is really good value for Toronto as well, even if Bosh is a little more valuable trade-wise if he resigns pre-trade, figuring he would only sign an extension if he was being traded to a destination he wanted.

I love Devin, man, but sign me up for that trade.

Finally, your guys realized that you have to trade Harris. Harris is just a ball stopper. Like wat they did for Yao, they traded ball stoppers SF3 and Cuttino Mobley away. Your guys should do the exactly the same thing for Lopez. Building a team is around him.
