PC sports games. (OT)

Post#1 » by aussienet » Tue May 12, 2009 11:45 pm

Hey Guy's just thought I would ask if any of you happen to know of any PC games available where you are more of the CEO than the GM. I know all about the NBA live and Nba 2k9 but i'm more interested in running the business side of things. I.e generating income to be able to pay the players. Not really fussed if it involves another sport other than basket ball.

Any help?
Any websites?

Cheers!

Not that I really know of. I'd personally love a game like that too. I know there had a game for NFL coaching and stuff. Don't know how it is though. You know what is kinda fun though? Getting the NCAA College Basketball games and just doing coaching mode. I have like 10 friends obsessed with it. I am too lazy for it, but they love it. You recruit guys and try to move up the ranks and conferences. You have goals to meet like pull in a #1 recruit and random crap. The only thing they have NEVER gotten is the Lifetime Contract offer from a school and it pisses them all off, but they play they constantly. I think it's NCAA College Hoops that has that option. Don't know if the other college ball game has it though.

This game kept me entertained for months I ended up losing in the finals to another team in my league, and quit shortly after that... By that time I had assembled a pretty young and talented roster I just didn't want to spend anymore time scouring the transfer list for bargains...

There's another game that is exactly what you're looking for that I used to have on my computer... I can't recall the name of it but when I find it I'll post a link to it here...

(It might have been discontinued which would explain why I'm having some trouble finding it =\)

I think that's the game there's a free demo you can go ahead and try I think.

I know it's late, but I own DDSPB and I just wanted to tell you how awesome it is. First, you can just play the game on your own, but also, you can join online leagues where it is you and 29 other players who run a team each. It is a lot of fun.

It is a lot like how OOTP works for baseball

On a side note...

I just moved into a new apartment and I'm still waiting for Verizon to set up my internet so I'm probably going to be another 5-6 days without consistent online access...
