Re: OT: RJ to the Spurs
Im definately pulling my fingers for this trade.
RJ was a big part of this franchise and is still a fan favourite he desreves the best and only the best and the Spurs would allow him to show his ability and compete.

Done Deal.
Congrats RJ.
Now I feel better.
We had a better deal for RJ. Bucks got screwed.
Bowen, Thomas and maybe Oberto go back to Spurs after they are waived.
Tony, Manu, RJ, Duncan and WHOEVER is a very good starting lineup.
Congrats RJ.

I'm sure there will be a decent vet or two coming to the Spurs in FA this offseason now. This should be interesting. Great move and I'm happy for RJ.

Honestly just look at what they did......
Give us a lottery pick with huge upside and cap flexibility for RJ.
Than they traded RJ for cap flexibility.
So basically all they did with RJ is loose a lotter pick

This may help us next year too.
What does Cuban think about this?
Does he pull some more BS trades to try to improve?
This may help or hurt us next year with Dallas' pick.

Even if he will look to improve via trade we're one of the only teams that can help him with Vince.
Its basically either us or Pheonix.

Re: OT: RJ to the Spurs
This makes me sad on so many levels.
I am happy that RJ is going back to a real contender, but it sucks it's San An, a team that won one of their titles versus us.
On top of this, I don't know about you guys, but I would have much rather kept RJ for one extra season, made a playoff run, and then turned around and done basically this same deal ourselves with maybe some small added incentive such as Roger Mason in place of Thomas and maybe a future 1st.
We would have cut Bowen and Oberto, declined Hayes option, had a couple mill less on the books from a lack of Yi and when it was all said and done, signed Millsap to an offer sheet.
Could have wound up with a starting lineup next season such as:
PG Devin Harris
SG Roger Mason
SF Vince Carter
PF Paul Millsap
C Brook Lopez
Bench of: Dooling, Ryan Anderson, Chris Douglas-Roberts, Boone, Swat, Hassell, Najera and our rookie with whatever pick we would have wound up with.
Wowsers!

Neither Lopez nor Harris would have been nearly as good as they are today in that scenario.
We all love RJ he'll still be fan favourite around here no matter where he plays but the Nets franchise and him just had to part ways him and Vince just didnt work that well, Devin wouldnt have been able to flourish with him taking all the shots and Lopez wouldnt have shown us all that godly potential this year or maybe ever if RJ was still around.
