I trust Opie like I trust my niece around Ruben Patterson.

I don't see all the bad talk for Lawrence Frank. He is after all the longest tenured head coach of the East. That one hurt my soul...

I have a feeling that he will start Jarvis over Courtney.
But if we fire Frank, what are the other options again?

As the guy who originally slapped Frank with the Opie tag that has now stuck....I want to come back to it and say...I have no problem with him staying while we rebuild. NONE. I hated him with a team that what looking to contend when he was so inexpierienced. But, he works hard....he relates to players...and he fits the team at this time. I see no real reason to toss him right now. Not unless you want to get me a Hubie Brown type to simply come in a develop.

When we are good again...then we can reassess if Frank has grown enough to stay. If he still fits. If not...lets see who is around coach wise.

I'm still worried he'll sit one of our younger guys and instead play Najera, Simmons, and Battie. Why? Because it's Frank...

Yeah me too.

It's funny, cause I don't know if E was reading these boards last season, but that was almost exactly what I was saying about the Opester myself until about 2 or 3 months in and then I fell back into my vindictave Opie hating nature. I just don't like this guy as a NBA head coach.
The funniest thing is, I've been saying for years he would be an excellent Division I NCAA head coach, which means nothing but young kids and developing players, but he just comes off as being able to do that at that level a lot better to me.
Maybe at a smaller school though, because he isn't going to want to play the freshman and big time recruits aren't gonna go for that.
