Maybe it's just me, but I want Peja instead of Mo Pete, but having Posey coach our young wing players would be invaluable. Twill and CDR would learn a ton.

Oh well. I don't need Chris Paul then. I'm sorry Harris + expirings + Young guys or two + picks is good enough. There is no reason anyone could justify to me that would make me say "yeah we can put Brook in that deal."
He's not on the table, even for Chris Paul. We have a roster/assets built to get Paul without Brook whether Hornet fans want to admit or not.
But I'm getting ahead of myself considering NOH won't trade CP3

I'm posting this here and in the Official Offseason Thread.
I thought this is an interesting one for us fans to kick around...

People are craaaazy to think that's a lotto team in the East. It's not a contender, but it's decent. I don't want to think about anymore crazy deals though until they actually gain steam. I'm still trying to get my head around the Vince deal personally.

Re: Thorn Get 'er Done
It's hilarious how far some people go to be haters.
I hate that word too, its often thrown around as a copout when someone has a different opinion, but in this case, it's the true definition of the word.
If NOH was a 50 win team in a stupidly strong West, then how would the team I constructed not be even better with an uber better lineup, from the 2nd best player down to the 14 guy on the roster?!
That team is, in my opinion a true contender the 1st season they are together.
Chris Paul is a top 5 player, Boozer is a top 5 power forward, Brook Lopez is a beast, we keep Lee, Yi and CDR and the entire bench is rock solid. Peja is just a big plus when healthy.
That team would be the real deal, straight up.
Plus it's built with future contention in mind, as long as Boozer stays on, the team is so legit and when he is over the hill, 5 or 6 years down the line, Brook, Yi, etc. would be that much better with that much experience and guys like CDR and future MLE signings would easily take over for Peja.
If the team wentto Brooklyn it would be a premier spot for future FA's to take a slight discount for the full MLE and come here and we would almost never be over the luxury tax even in the future when you have to resign guys, because Peja's mammoth albatross contract comes off the books.
I know it's all just spit ballin' and day dreaming, but I don't know how some of these clowns on the Trade Board are claiming that's a lotto or even bottom of the East team?!!!
You want to argue my trades won't be accepted by the other teams, go ahead, i can understamd that, but there is no way that team isn't at worst a 50 win 4 seed with a future so bright you need Ray Ban's when you're just watching the post game interviews in your living room.
