I am starting to get this feeling that Blake Griffin is just going to be another K-Mart? Dont get me wrong Kenyon Martin was my favorite player when he was on the nets...but we all know he was not first pick worthy. Dont you think that is the best of griffins potential? He really does not have a post game or a jumpshot.
What do you guys think? I would have brought this up in the clippers board...but i would have got suspended for trolling or something. And we all know Kmart to the fullest.

Re: Blake Griffin
See I think his game from 12' is great. His balance is perfect and his upper body strength is nba ready. KMart was progressing each year (even his first year in Denver) until his knee injuries really took away a lot of his athleticism (even though he's still pretty athletic compared to other people in the NBA). I think his offensive game is more polished than Kmart and he has the same intensity and a better basketball IQ in my opinion. I'd be fine calling him a rich man's kmart. I think he'll be awesome in his prime. He just needs to get out of LA lol.

I think Griffin has a lot more potential to develop than K Mart and I think he's stronger and more athletic than KMart was. People tend to compare him to Amare rather than Kmart.
I really like 1840s merchant vessels. Basketball on the other hand, I can take it or leave it...

Ugh, I see this comparison and it makes me cringe. Not that Kenyon wasn't a really good player and an Allstar before injuries ravages his career, but because they have basically no similarities to their game what so ever besides being athletic freaks that play with heavy intensity.

Why after a few summer games? Get on a horse! K-mart? Are you a scout? This is a ridiculous accusation. Absolutely preposterous hypothesis. You and the door knob are redundant. You take griffin.
