I normally don't say this but Jordan Hill looks like he's going to be a bust. Dude is S-O-F-T...

Too bad Lopez never looked into this game, it looked like he tried to flip the switch in the end but his passiveness early on prevented him from ever finding his groove.

edit:

Final play with the Nets down by 5 was drawn up pretty well but a poor entry pass by T-Will sealed the deal.

Overall I'm still pretty adamant that Lee and CDR can't both be starters since more or less all they do is score (they do so efficiently but more playmaking / rebounding is needed).

Booby showed he doesn't deserve a jersey (even on on a bad team)
Coach Frank was lost out there couldn't get Brook involved and panicked. Had that deer in the headlights look on his face.

Go Nets!

Lopez was getting frustrated and shut down by Lee.
T Will looked good.
Yi looked solid.
Lee was so-so, he's got a nice shot and nice hustle to him.
Simmons? What was he thinking.
Another example that Ope is owned by his players!
After that 3 fest I would have benched him for the game, pulled Yi aside and pointed, and said loud enough for Lt. Dan to hear it, "See, that's what you wanna do if you don't want to play.".

-Lee didn't lock up Brook it was the double, triple teams.
-Terrance is athaletic (Charles Barley voice)
-Skip to Yi for the open jumper is an easy assist expect a lot of that Rafer can't shoot.WT!?
-C.Lee should get that outlet pass to attack it was a lot of set plays for him tonight.
-Where was Najera? Booby's a joke.
Coach could've played Boone at the 4 too he gets no respect.

Good game

Yi's post game = one grade up from last year, especially his post up fade away shots (very similar to Yao's)

Yeah I too wouldn't say that Lee shut Brook down. In general Brook seemed to be passive today, he was receiving the ball, turning, and then facing looking to pass first and shoot second.

Realistically he can't dominate every game with defenses geared to stopping him so it's not big deal...

The Bobby Simmons sequence really pissed me off though I mean YES it's only preseason but come on man that was absurd other guys were out there playing hard and you go and put your team in a hole like that?

Where's the love...

I guess my only note on T-Will was that he once again settled for some bad jumpers, he connected on some 3's at the end of the game which kind of padded his stats but he has to be more aggressive. He can get into the lane at will and is strong enough to finish... Now if only he had more touch around the basket -_-
