I devin Harris playing tonight?

Post#1 » by crazykidd2k6 » Tue Nov 17, 2009 10:11 pm

Does anyone know? If he isn't ill be so mad, they are babying the **** out of all the Nets players its just ridiculous. I bet they are purposely doing this so we can loose a lot of games this year so we can get a high pick. I know this team is capable of winning.

We know this: Neither Devin Harris nor Courtney Lee will play tonight. Both are still recovering from strained groins.

Yi Jianlian was doing the elliptical machine when we walked in the gym but he's still a couple of weeks away from coming back from a knee sprain. And Jarvis Hayes is getting closer but it doesn't seem like he will play anytime before the upcoming West Coast trip, which he said he intends to go on.

What would be the point of risking reinjury at this point?
I hope you weren't one of those, "We're going to make the playoffs this year!", guys.

Side note, NetsForce, what's up with no sig or avy?

hello?? you play to win the game.... YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!!!!
the point of risking reinjury is the fact the nets have not won a single game yet. do you think any of the players that will be free agents next year are even contemplating coming to new jersey right now?? harris is a competitor, at least i hope he is, and if he is then he wants to play and win.

But why would you risk further injury to win one game when you can wait for the injury to heal and try to win more than one games...

I am a sad, dejected young Nets fan... And I was going to make new ones before my laptop went down with a virus and I had to reformat the whole thing.

I don't see this team winning this year but I am really eager to see our full potential on what we really can do. We can stop the opposing team on the defensive end. I just wanna see how good we can be if we have out best offensive player in the game. I hate making the excuse that the reason why we are loosing is because of injuries. I want to see what we really can do.

this is a joke right. i mean theres no way youre serious. have you seen the damn schedule? the nets couldnt even beat the wolves with a full healthy team. new jersey is the laughing stock of the nba right now. wins are going to be few and far between so theres no point resting a minor injury to rry and win MORE games later. what do you mean by more anyway? 1 or 2? because this is going to be a record breaking team. the watch is on for 9-73.

^ ^ 9 wins really? I think we suck yes but we're better then 9. It's probably more like 15-20.

They weren't fully healthy against the Wolves. Devin was never fully healthy to begin with hence why he shut it down...

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at either, from your post it seems like you'd like to bring Devin back early have him risk worsening the injury and missing more time just to win 1 game instead of letting him heal, come back, and give the Nets a shot at winning more than 1 game.

A healthy Devin > A gimpy Devin. It's common sense.

they were healthy against the wolves and you know it. devin is not injured either i cant believe youre buying into that. i came back from a broken ankle in high school quicker than devin is from a sprained ankle. and even if he really is still gimpy, ill take the risk of having him come back in a winnable game (which they lost anyway) then let him rest and bring him back when we play teams like boston, cleveland, lakers...... pretty much every team in the league.

9-73 is the worst record of all time. i definatley think the nets are gonna win more than 9, but 0-11 is on pace for that record.
