It didn’t get any publicity before or after from the Nets’ PR machine. It was done quietly. On Tuesday, Josh Boone, Brook Lopez and Sly visited the pediatric ward at Newark’s University Hospital, delivering teddy bears, books, games and toys, all donated by Boone. The parent of one three-year-old said, “Seeing these players put a smile on his face.”
