That's just low nets fans(the 5 or so of you  )

Toronto hasn't had one snow-storm all winter. The worst snow of the winter thus far has been like 2 inches a couple weeks ago.

Not just this year dude, I'm talking about the 15 years the Raps have been in existence, we've had 100's of snowstorms, public transit strikes, etc. But we have never gone that low.

You realize that their snowstorm was historically bad and their arena is in the middle of nowhere.

Now, if the raptors had a similar snowstorm WHILE there was a ttc strike (toronto transit comission) at the same time, and the arena was in Brampton or something...then you'd have a point.

SixSevenShooter wrote: 1) Once again your wrong so you switched up your whole arguement. So wait.. you believe that your either a title contending team or a 3-39284 team? Sorry we aren't one of the 4 teams in a 30 team league with a record to say we are going for the title... learn the game man what do you want me to say here? You sound like you haven't touched a basketball in your life.

No, when did I ever say that being "3-39284" is the way to go? I'm saying that, unless you're a true title contender, then making the playoffs really doesn't help. There are some exceptions to this, of course, such as a young team that has room to grow making the playoffs and exiting in the first round. That's not the Raptors though: they have experienced players, already have playoff experience for the most part, and no cap space in the future, so being in the playoffs could actually hurt them. They could strike lightning and make it to the finals, but I don't see that happening. You might, but I don't.

2) How is what I said about hoping for a lotto pick not true? You said "at least we got a chance at first pick" and yes, you do.. a small ass chance that going from past lotto's won't happen for you.. Which means your putting your hope on something so slim to happen that its pathetic to use against me in an argument.

I said we also have a chance at the first pick. Not at least. Now, I know that might seem like a non-factor to most, but it completely changes the meaning of the sentence. With the also being there, it means that it's a continuation of me admitting the fact that the Nets could potentially be the worst team ever, hence me agreeing with you that the team sucks. A small ass chance? There is a 25% chance of getting the first pick, no higher or lower. So, regardless of prior history, that percentage does not move.

3) I knew your uneducated ass couldn't comprehend a sentence. Where did you see me once say I'm not soft because I play basketball? It's called a period.. I assumed your mind would know that means I'm starting a new thought... lol "I'm not soft like most raptor fans. (PERIOD) I play organized basketball so I know the game like the back of my hand" ... that really so hard to understand?

When one person continues on writing after making a statement of fact, without there being a pause or a break, it construes to the reader that the writer intends for the reader for him or her to make an inference. In this case, I made an inference that you were saying you weren't soft because you played organized ball. If I made an improrper inference it's because you implied something, not because I'm an "uneducated ass."

Wanna keep going? because this took me literally 3 minutes to type up with how stupid your arguments are.

I'm not arguing anything. When did I say that the Nets were better than the Raptors? When did I say that the Nets would win? When did I speak ill of the Raptors? Honestly, you're trying to put down the wrong person.

You can answer, if you want, but there's no point. The Raptors won in a great fashion, be happy with that. Either way, I'm done in this thread since the games over and I've said my piece.

The team plays at the Meadowlands.
It isn't within walking distance of anywhere and there isn't any public transportation.
The game was on the night of a literal blizzard, not just a snow storm.
The team is 5 and 50.
The Nets have never had a large fanbase, nor a very faithful one, but the few of us that are here year in and year out are die hards.
I don't see your point. Are you trying to say your team is better because more idiots with no knowledge of the game of basketball follow them? 80% of your board are 15 year old trolls that get banned before their 1000th post.
If Vince Carter never played for your team there wouldn't even be a NBA team in the entire country of Canada anymore, let's be real.
Don't come in here with your 49 posts, prepubescent LULZ factory attitude and act like you're better then someone else because your team has high attendance you **** clown.

^Dude, don't even bother. Don't put down the whole Raptor board just because of a few posters, it's not fair to the other Raptor fans. Either way, I'm done in this thread.

Yeah, I broke Rule 14.

And I didn't put down the whole Raptor board, I said 80% and that isn't really much of an exaggeration and most of the solid Raptors posters will admit that and their mods will likely agree.
You should see the amount of ridiculous threads over there that get locked.

I've maintained my peace throughout this thread...but I'm not sure I want to tolerate that. Please retract that statement.

It's unfair to the city of Toronto and all Raptors fans. I don't think that comment is something you'd be proud of.

Normally don't post on other teams boards. But this statement is just ignorant. The Raptors are one of the most financially sound and well off organizations in the league, with one of the richest owners in the league. Vince or not, this team was never/will never be moving out of one of the best media markets, and the fourth largest city in North America.

As to the fools talking about the attendance during the snowstorm, I have been to the Medowlands, and the IZOD center is literally in the middle of nowhere, other than like 50,000 parking lots. Can't blame the fans for that.

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&sourc ... CA4QnwIwAA

And NetsForce you have always been a Raptors hater. I remember reading your posts on the GB, and half of them used to be anti-Raptors.

The Nets are better than the Raptors: The Raptors Suck
The Raptors are better than the Nets: The Raptors Suck

You seriously complaining about a few angry Raptors fans try to defend their team?

That is revisionist history and you know it. I have never blatantly said the Raptors suck.

I've called them soft, because they are, even Raptors fans agree with me but you're going below the belt right now bro, and I don't appreciate it :-/...

I don't see what I said that was so wrong or untrue.
If it wasn't for VC the Raptors wouldn't have even been relevant and might have went the way of the Grizzlies.

Well, you're already changing your tune. It was far more "convincing" earlier on, which means you're not as sure as you were about what you posted.

Believe me, what you said was untrue, and again...it was unfair to the Toronto as a city and the Raptors fanbase.

I'm not changing my tune.
If the Raptors never traded for VC they would have went the way of the Grizzlies and likley would have been sold and moved, therefore, like I said earlier, there wouldn't be a team in Canada anymore. It's not unfair and it's not an insult, it's just an opinion that is backed by a lot of obvious facts and is close to a fact in itself.
