Suns fan here. Why are you guys even arguing this point. I felt this was bait thread when I read the question.

Robin is perfect for our system. He can PnR and finish. Hit a soft hook or J, but post player his is not. I'll take what he gives us offensively NOW as a bonus, just play defense and give me 11 rebs. I don't like the dump the ball in the post anyways, too slow and tedious.

Brook>Robin, always.

Yeah Robin only has 10/7/2 in the first quarter against Sacramento and had about 8/3 in just about any first quarter since starting.

Clearly he has no potential to be as good or better than his twin brother.

When defenses consistently send double teams his way and he can score without Nash setting him up for easy dunks and layups, bump this thread until then I cast TROLLBEGONEDAWG!

I thought they both had a different game. Brook was more of an offensive threat while Robin focus more on Defense. I think when they all mature, they will be equally talented in different areas. You can't really compare offense with defense now, do you?

Whatever you think of RoLO one thing is for sure: You haven't heard the last of him. Brooks has had his 15mins of fame, now its Robins turn.

Yes, I am ready to admit it, Robin Lopez has the higher ceiling than Brook and will be better.

Only 30/12 for Robin tonight. Clearly will never be better than Brook.

Or when Brook posts stats on a team that wins double-digit amount of games.

Sigh..

When Robin lopez averages more than Brooks rookie year then get back to us, because right now he's averaging the same as Kris friggin Humphries even when playing next to Nash.. think about that for a second. And seriously.. if you really wanna know who people prefer, start a thread in the player comparisons board.

I love how fans of other teams come to the Nets board to hype up their own center because the thought of not having Brook Lopez makes them sad

30 and 12 from Robin was nice. But once again the primary reason for Robin having that many points was Steve Nash.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again Robin is great with moving without the basketball but his one-on-one game is nonexistent.

Robin isn't the kind of guy you'd isolate down the stretch to get you a bucket, Brook is.

Clearly one huge game is indicative of his overall potential and proves he will be better then his brother.

I'm not sure, I think Brook is great offensively, and improving defensively, but Brook wont be at his level on defense, we have been seeing good rebounds, boxing out and blocks and rebounds from Big Rob. I think they'll both develop fairly well.

They are equal shotblockers statistically. They are equal rebounders statistically.
Edit: Per 36 that is.

I still think Brook is the better rebounder despite him needing to improve in that area. I say this because Phoenix has one of the highest offensive paces in the league. I just looked it up and they allow 10 more FGA's than the nets and take 5 more shots than the nets themselves. That equals to more missed shots and more rebounding opportunities.

Since Robin became a starter he has grabbed 5 or less rebounds in 7 out of 19 games. Brook has 10 in 59 games.

I agree that Brook is the better rebounder, I also think he is the better shot blocker, I was just replying to SUN using the per 36 #'s to debunk the theory that Robin is better at those two things.
