He's been playing good D on Butler since he got switched on to him... 1 missed shot, forced a timeout by Butler (well thanks to Humps coming over and tying him up), let's see what happens the rest of the way...

stick a fork in em~ we gave this one away.. i was such a winnable game. How many threes are they going to jack up when it's not hitting. Humphries can't take it to the hoop strong and gets stripped multiple times. So many games are lost like this. It's ridiculous.
This team lives and dies by the three as of late. It's been the latter this entire season.

*TWill had a really nice game* took it to the basket multiple times.

There goes Lopez again, this time laughing with Haywood after he just killed him, even on important rebounds. When is he gonna stop mingling with the guys that made him look like he's not really the real deal. Or is he really the real deal?

He's only the real deal against guys shorter than him it seems.

The Mavericks double teamed Lopez hard so he had to kick the ball out... Ask yourself this though how many times did you see the ball returned to Lopez after the initial pass out?

If you guessed 0 give yourself a pat on the back!

Good defenses can take Lopez out of the game because virtually everyone else on the team sucks or is inexperienced.

We call guy's who are QUICK nifty. But in the Aussie rules form of things. nifty means to be able to avoid contact! which means you only take the field to avoid contact!

Sigh. We could have won this game, which would have been nifty if it happened.

Being a DIRK fan I was disappointed that he played so terribly against the Nets. TWill played very well tonight and the Mavs seemed like they couldn't stop his penetration to the basket. Hopefully this game gives Dallas a wake up call that every team is still dangerous and in the NBA.

Very enjoyable game. Kidd was vintage, as good as I remember him on the Nets. Nets showed flashes, but turned back into a pumpkin after half.

Dirk was a terrible.. I kept on thinking he was doing a great Yi impression. Hahaha...

I'm still watching parts of most Nets games, but get so little joy out of their inept and lack of passion, I don't want to write or think about the game afterwards here on RGM.

I agree there has been definitely a lack of passion...lately its been better...we started relying on the jumpshot, but I was still shocked when I finished watching this game that we were able to cut it to one...they're obviously the better team and the more experienced one...

I will go out on a limb and say despite our drop off and some of stats that show us our game detoriating, it really looked we played w. a **** load of passion tonight, one of the better games in that department all year...

Now only if we had a Brook showing...I will agree with both sides...Brook tends to be more challenged vs players of his own size, but rarely do you see a reentry to the post after he feeds it on a double team...I think he was called on some tough fouls too...still cant stand his complaining to the refs...with age and maturity I think this will pass...

gotta tip you hat to TWill...I hope he contines to close the season with the high level of play we're seeing...

nice to see you around dacher...

Its tough to get up for NJ. You have to bring your best shoes. The one's with the shiny gold sparkles and flowing white strings.
