Ok I need to touch on a few topics here:
1st. Yi - I can't take it anymore. He has got to be the most difficult player to watch from the Pistons game to the Bulls game it's just gotten to the point where it's starting to drain me. I can't stand to watch him at the PF spot next year a change has got to come. If you want to keep him around for the marketing or for a bench guy fine but when if he has to play more then 15-20 min next year we are in trouble. If he's not hitting shots he's USELESS. I don't even care about the marketing aspect anymore we don't need it we have a rich owner now. Please sucker someone else into taking him for a mid to late 1st.
2nd Kiki - I'm not even talking about his coaching I really don't like this guy as a GM. This mainly is stemming from his recent comments about Yi among other things. Thorn recently came out and said, not directly but implied it, that Yi and Lopez just isn't working and a change needs to be made. Followed by Kiki saying "look at the Piston game this could still work". Is he that blind that he thinks this could still work. Thank God Thorn is still there because Kiki scares me as a GM. Why is this guy considered a good GM ok he started building DEN but they didn't really take the next step until he left and Melo basically fell into his lap so lets not give him too much credit here. He over paid for K-Mart which is killing their flexibility. This guy needs to go I think he has little idea how to build a team and just goes after the name players not thinking how they fit into the big picture.
3rd. The Draft - John Wall is head and shoulders above everyone in this draft watching him play I see that he is as good as advertised. Turner says he doesn't want to go out the way he did so he might return to school, Favors while looking impressive is still raw, Wesley Johnson's stock has climbed in my book after watching more of him and Cousins isn't the PF we need but I think we would take him if we drop to 3 or 4. Nobody else comes close to those guys. So I we need to land that number 1 pick bad, even though you guys already knew that.
I have more but thats all for now those were a few of the things I've been thinking about recently.

Re: Random Thoughts
I just want to know one thing; Has there been any mention in the local media why Battie and Simmons, plus to a lesser extent Hassel, weren't bought out after the deadilne?
But I agree with you on the Kiki thing. I'm guessing you're new owner is going to make fairly major changes to the front office as well (i would keep Thorn for all his knowledge in some way). Kiki is not a head coach, and hes not a front office guy.

Re: Random Thoughts
With Battie it was a matter of him not being willing to take a pay cut.
With Simmons and Hassell... Nothing was ever said BUT I would imagine neither player was able to secure a guaranteed contract from another team so once again they weren't going to give up any of their money in a buyout.

Thats crazy to me. You're not exactly having a career year playing for a team that (at the time after the trade deadline) is going for the 72-73 sixers record and playoff teams (at least Denver) are not suttley inquiring about you....so you're going to whine about a couple million when you've made millions over your career.
