Coach K: top choice for coach/GM - is this source legit?

Incoming billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov is prepared to make Krzyzewski an offer that would be difficult to refuse, league sources said.

Krzyzewski turned down a five-year, $40 million offer to coach Kobe Bryant and the Lakers in 2004. The Nets’ offer likely will be between $12 million and $15 million per season for Krzyzewski to be their coach and perhaps general manager, a source said.

If Prokhorov gets his way this off-season, Krzyzewski could be coaching his final game for Duke tonight when the Blue Devils face Butler for the NCAA championship.

Al Iannazzone is a well known Nets insider, and this is pretty much all over every nets site so I'd say the source is pretty legit. I doubt Coach K accepts the offer though but hey I wouldn't mind having a coach like JVG either and I highly doubt he turns down a similar offer.

With a contract that ridiculous I could see Coach K leaving if he were to become coach I would hope he doesn't become the GM though... Giving one person the roles of coach and GM never seems to work out well in the end.

Just reported on ESPN that Coach K has already definitively turned the offer down.

Wow, that's a HUGE offer. Even for coach K, that's vastly overpaying.

So, how much would Coach K make at Duke? A few 100k? He could probably increase his bank account by a hundred times by accepting this offer?
