If the Warriors win the draft lottery, would anyone be interested in a trade of John Wall and Anthony Randolph for Brook Lopez and if the pick is the 2nd or 3rd or the 4th pick?
Why John Wall, all from excerpts from so called experts:
NBA Comparison: Derrick Rose/Rajon Rondo
Strengths: Has the size and physical tools to become an incredible player ... Not many players at his position have the combination of speed and athleticism that he possesses … At least once or twice a game he will make a brilliant play that shows the amount of potential that he has … He is able to consistently finish above the rim, both in transition and in traffic … He has an extra gear which allows him to turn the corner or to explode by defenders in the open court … Going full speed he is not only faster than anyone else on the court, but he is also very comfortable handling the ball as he is weaving through defenders … Very impressive is his ability to change direction in mid-stride while going full speed … In ISO situations, he is almost impossible to stop because of his great first step as well as the variety of moves that he can use off the dribble … He has good instincts and because he consistently gets into the lane, he is very good at finding teammates when the help defense comes over … His freakish athleticism and extremely long arms make him a serious threat in the passing lanes as well as a weakside shotblocker ...
The 2009 draft was known as the point guard draft but all the players has some sort of issue. Evans not a true point, more of a small forward. Rubio, an international sensation but looks really fragile. Flynn is small but a good leader. Curry a combo guard playing point. Jennings barely played overseas and so on.
John Wall has more upside and potential then any of them. He will attract free agents and help improve Yi, Lee, Roberts, and Williams.
Lopez has been growing more and more frustrated on and off the court. Randolph not the same type of player but one thing is that he can keep up with Wall, is long, athletic, blocks shots, and has an expanded wing span to get most rebounds. He has to put on weight to stay with the bigger post players. Other bigs will not be able to keep pace because he can get the rebound and start the break without passing the ball.
The GSWs should go bigger, Lopez and Derrick Favors should solve all the rebounding problems they have. Now they can keep a smaller backcourt if their frontline is bigger and stronger.

Re: John Wall and Anthony Randolph
I wouldn't trade Lopez for Wall straight up considering we'll have at least the 4th pick AND plenty of cap space.
Thorn has made this team extremely flexible, so trades like this don't have to happen.
Of course, trying to throw in our top pick with Lopez is right out as well.
All personal opinion of this Nets fan. I'm sure other Nets fans would beg to differ.

I would have to decline, I don´t like Anthony Randolphs game, and we have to throw in our pick? No way, no thanks. I´d rather take my chances on Turner.

Re: John Wall and Anthony Randolph
No offense, as high as I am on Wall this is my logic:
A guy like Wall comes along every few years. See Chris Paul and Derrick Rose. I'd even through Deron in that list as well honestly but some won't. Guys like Brook don't come around very often (True 7' Centers with offensive and defensive abilities/intangibles). I'm not trading Brook unless we mortgage our future ala the Boston Celtics and basically KNOW we'd win a title within 2 years...still I'd even second guess myself at that point as well.
I'm not trading Brook just to get Wall.

Re: John Wall and Anthony Randolph
GSW would look to trade down Wall but won't want to trade Randolph. With Ellis + Curry, no point to keeping Wall if there's a market for him. I doubt the Nets would offer Brook. However, there's several teams likely to want Wall and willing to pay for him.
CENSORED... No comment.

I'd much rather have Lopez with Cousins, Wesley or Turner than Wall and Randolph.
