would you do something around our #12 pick with matching salary fillers for Harris.

Yeah sure.

Give us Hedo, Jarret Jack, and Bosh's ninja turtle looking girlfriend (her gigantic forehead can defend better than Bargnani).
Keep your pick, make sure to list any other salary dumps you want us to take, we have plenty of capspace.

No not any bad contacts. I was thinking

Banks (expiring)
Belinelli
#12

for

Harris

saves you money. Don't know if you do it I'm just looking for all-star level guards to appease bosh

note: only if you get wall

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Harris is on a great contract, and we don't need to save money. Do you know how much capspace we have?

No thanks.

I think the Nets can do better than this for Harris. Belinelli would get buried here IMO with Lee/CDR/TWill already here on the wings.

You're also overrating the savings here. The length on Harris' contract isn't an issue and when you factor in the salary of paying pick #12, it's basically cap neutral for this year.

Must be at a concert or something, how else could Bosh be standing behind her?

What about Beasley + James Jones for Devin Harris?

This has been proposed before... I think the general consensus is definitely no if the Nets don't land Wall, but if the Nets do land Wall... Then maybe.

From the Heats' perspective though I don't think Harris-Wade is a good fit...

I personally think Beasley is garbage relative to his hype, draft position and so called, "potential".

I think I would honestly rather have the 10th overall pick in this draft and TJ Ford for Devin and I honestly don't like that deal much neither.

It's going to be a tough spot for Devin if we land Wall. Of the possible suitors, not many have the type of assets/particular player(s) we would be looking for.

I think it would have to be a three or four team trade to achieve a good deal for all sides, in which case I could see Miami landing him for Beasley and salary filler, because I assume there are more then a few teams that would be quite interested in Beasley.

^^^^

#10 lands Patrick Patterson so you know I'm interested. I personally don't have a big problem with TJ Ford as our backup.

My main issue is that Ford has 0 leadership skills and, even if Harris is playing backup, will be 300 times a better leader.

I'm hoping if we move Devin it's for a need position (whether starting for depth) where we get a guy who can still lead. I'm thinking like Keyon Dooling and Jarvis do for our current roster.

If the Nets get Wall its a very interesting deal and one I probably pull the trigger on. However, NJ isn't taking James Jones' contract. Buying him out is going to be your problem, not ours.

I just wrote up a lengthy response to this and my computer went back a page when I hit back space. I feel like kicking a ****ing puppy clear across a room. :x

My main point was, if we draft a power forward, do we sign one as well? It is the dilema, the gift and the curse, that the deepest position in this draft and free agency is power forward and on the flip side, pretty much every other position is either pretty shallow and/or pretty flawed.

I am a big Patterson fan myself, although I wonder how good he will really be?
I also think he is a great fit alongside Brook on offense, but wonder if they will be straight up terrible paired together on the defensive end.

Also agree that Wall is not a leader.
