Love is probably worth somewhere around the 4th to 8th pick in this draft.
If they even wanted to move him, I highly doubt they would do it for the 10th.

As much as getting Paul would be nice, I really dont think you trade Wall for Paul. That doesnt make sense. If we get the #3 or 4 pick OK.

Wall is a younger and no injury Paul. Sorry I wouldnt take that risk. Wall could be better then Rose. Why would you trade that?

I am fine with Wall, Lee, TWill, PF(Harris trade), Lopez if we dont get lebron.

Only way I get excited about Lebron is when he SAYS I WANT TO BE A NET!!!!!!

Because Chris Paul is the best point guard in the league, is only 25 and has a seriously legitimate chance to go down as one of, if not the best point guard in NBA history?

Pre-injury Right?

Let see him back on the court healed first.

I say if we get #1 or #2 we stand pat. If we dont waste our cap space on crappy FAs, by the trade deadline teams with financial restraints will be desperate. Maybe NO is one of them.

Injury or not, still think it's worth it. Is it illogical for me to think the Nets actually have more leverage in this trade?

Like I've said before,

While there are many talk of LBJ going to Chicago, NY, or any other places, I think New Jersey would be the best place for him IF he leaves. They have the second richest owner in the NBA who is willing to do anything to create a winning team (Think Mark Cuban), Most picks in the NBA over the next three years, good young talent, a lot of cap-space, and they will be moving to Brooklyn in two years. A lot of people say Newark is "purgatory" but why exactly is that? Newark is still a great city, and it is less than a half-hour away from the "Big Apple." Lebron doesn't even have to live in NJ, NY is literally right across him. The Prudential Center is new, and it has state-of-the-art equipment. It's nothing like the Izod Center. (You can even go there by subway.) He also doesn't have to worry about selling the crowd out, Lebron will sell ANY arena out. Last year, when the Nets played the Cavs, nearly 18,000 people came to see him play. This was the year when the Nets were 12-70 so imagine if he was actually on the Nets in Newark. If Lebron can sell the arena in Ohio out on a nightly basis, there is no doubt he can do the same in NEWARK. Also, If the Kris Humphries decides to opt out of his Player Option, they could have even more cap-space, maybe even enough for a second-tier as well, ala David Lee. If they get John Wall, LBJ, and David Lee agrees to sign for less, that whole starting line-up could be in the all-star game. (Assuming Nets keep Harris and move him to the 2, which he is capable of.)

PG: John Wall (Future All-star)
SG: Devin Harris (Former All-star) or trade Yi and Harris for a solid SG
SF: LBJ (Need I say more)
PF: David Lee (All-star)
C: Brook Lopez (Future All-star)

Bench wouldn't be bad either. With C. Lee, CDR, T-Will (Who definitely has a potential to be an all-star as well) Two other picks in this DEEP draft, and cap-space to sign defensive/shooter veterans, they would have a solid bench. I can see this team winning for many, many years.

(Note: If the nets get John Wall and he lives up to the hype and the Nets get LBJ, the Nets will essentially have 3 max players (LBJ, Wall, Lopez) and 1-3 Near-Max Players (D. Lee, Harris (not so sure about him, he's probably borderline), and T-Will (if he picks up from where he left off))

The best case scenario will be that we land the #1 pick. If you get Wall and move Harris I am thinking our chances will go up dramatically for LBJ. BTW, living in OH he is getting killed out here!!!!!

Newark is better looking than Cleveland!!!!!!!!!!!
The "Turnpike" deserve a NBA championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly now that Miami is just not a viable option for Lebron, there's just no way he'll sign over there.
Should he sign with the Heat it will always be Wade's team weather he like's it or not, its his city and a guy like him has too big of an ego to be "the Pipen" of the 1-2 combo.

I also dont get the whole Chicago hype, yes Rose is a fantastic player and will be for many years to come, but Noah is very "meh" they really dont have any other selling points outside of that in my opinion.
Granted the Nets are coming out of one of the worst season's known to man but I do believe we have the best assets to surround Lebron for the next decade.
I think we'll know our chances come draft time.
Anyway Lebrick Shames or not, I havent been this excited during this part of the year in years!

Allow me to quote Booker T on this one:

Arrgh, I hate Gweneth Paltrow, terrible comparison.

I still dont get the Newark hate, even some of you are hating. Its not a **** hole. I was 5 years ago, but the city is on the up and up, especially since that arena was built. Its not NYC obviously, but to call it Cleveland is a bit much.

The area around the Arena is the furthest from a **** hole, even if you wanna call Newark in general that. There is tons of places to go, easy to get it, safe, plenty of parking, plenty of great people around. The overall experience of going to games there is excellent. You can live anywhere you want, from a mansion in Northest Jersey to anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn and be within an hour and half train ride away from the arena MAXIMUM. What else do you need really?

I've always thought Brooklyn was the perfect situation for LeBron. I don't think having to wait in New Jersey will deter him. I fully believe LeBron will be going to New Jersey next year. They are going to have a heck of a team immediately depending on who they get for Devin Harris when they trade him and whoever else they sign.

By itself the pairing of LeBron and B.Lopez is a scary thought.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

I didn't hate. I said the city was fine and that it wouldn't help or hurt our chances, but I did say the city was a **** hole. Subtle difference there.

The Prudential Center is one of the nicest arenas in the country hands down. Has anyone been in there? It is amazing.

Lebron can move to the nicest part of Brooklyn (which is beautiful) and commute to Newark for the games for 2 seasons OR he can live in NYC or North Jersey and be able to work in Newark and Brooklyn for the next 5-7 years with a minimal commute. It's not like Newark is 200 miles away from Brooklyn.

Google maps has Newark 17.3 miles away from Brooklyn!!! That's like 30 to 45 mins driving. He can buy a chopper and use that everyday if he wants! He has and will have the money.

at least the Nets are being mentioned...Unknown source seen on the wiretap, ect...after making call to Rose/Bulls...Avery Johnson also gave his endorsement...still a pipedream...but its looking more and more like he's gonna jump ship...I really hope that situation with his mother turns out to be false...
