Jerry Sloan is a top 5 coach in the league in my opinion. Everyone just forgets about him. He's a "no bs" coach which this team needs. Too bad he'll never leave Utah unless they kick him out. His system is what this team needs. Good flowing offense, tougher than people realize but relying on help defense, won't take any bs from anyone no matter how egotistical the player is. He basically tells you to play his system or he'll ship you out. He'd make Devin more successful.
If we draft Cousins, we need a coach along the same wavelength as Jerry.
With that said, I'm not trading Brook for that. The #9 pick wouldn't even start on our weak team, that grizzlies first rounder is mad protected for the next few years (I looked it up yesterday) and we can sign Boozer ourselves if we wanted.
If Boozer is our guy we'd just sign him (he's not a max guy so he's gonna get a similar deal anywhere), I think we'd still draft at #3 and let that guy develop and go from there and wait for Melo next summer.
Now if you want to talk about AK/Koufos for Yi/CD/#27, I'll put my ear to the speaker and listen.

You know what. I'd do it. Pick Cousins at to play center. Boozer is a top notch PF. Plenty of talent at the 9th pick and grizz pick will be another lotto pick. And we get one of the best coaches in the league, hell yes, great deal.
