I think there is a lot of truth to that...hopefully he can produce...Initially guys were saying he's NBA player with a limited ceiling..maybe 8th off the bench, but I'll take that..

I heard of the kid because of his relationship with Durant, but VC4p felt there was more upside elsewhere...I dont get to watch college bball as much as like anymore, but I usually go with VC4P's (and company) breakdown...

If you don't remember our team was without a point guard for awhile, due to injuries, and trades, and unwilling to spend ownership. Boki was playing point guard, and showing legit play making skills despite being on, at the time, the worst roster in the NBA, with no shooing on the floor what so ever.
His ability to get into the lane against smaller defenders using quickness, and long strides like Odom is what really surprised.

His big problem was turnovers, and really due to the same problem RJ was having at the time, having to force everything inside himself (no shooting). On this roster, I think he could play some backup point, and sf, his more naturual position.

As far as backup PG I think they are going to get an upgrade or take Dooling back at a small salary (which I think would be a good move).

When was Boki a part of the worst roster in the NBA? And if you are referring to the last team he played wih in NJ..yeah the roster certainly wasnt good....but that shouldnt help sell him...that helps to say...hey...options were limitted and sucess wasnt found in solutions like that.

Boki was not, and will not be an NBA PG by trade. I cant see that happening.

Yep I'm impressed with James. He's having a terrible shooting night but he's a workaholic and he's showing some really good drives to the basket. Also showing that he'd be able to post up smaller guys.

Favors on the other hand hasn't had a very good game. Granted he's not seeing the ball a lot on offense but I'd say he was more active around the rim yesterday. He did show a nice Right and Left Handed Hook. Well either way I'm not worried can't judge players off the summer league especially a raw offensive big guy like Favors.

Outside of limited minutes you're right, but I still think he's a better backup option then anything on this roster / summer league. I was hoping we would sign Steve Blake, but LA got him, and thats a big dissapointment, because he's a better ball distributer then Devinn is in my opinion.

Damion James is a hell of a basketball player. As a huge Texas Longhorn fan I have watched many of his games, and he is a little be of sf/pf tweener but he is a gamer. A guy who accepts his role will work hard from Day 1 and compete for PT.
Favors too is a nice choice. His skill/potetial level for being 19 is tantalizing and a Lopez/Favors/James frontcourt is nice.

Favors is looking very raw right now, i think hes better coming off the bench we should sign david lee or something in the meantime.

im still upset about this outlaw signing though, id rather be starting Damion James i feel like he's gonna be NBA Ready from day 1.

Same here. Awkward signing.
