There was a better statement to be made, more professional with a more appropriate message sent to Cleveland and Lebron...

You felt he was worth 129 mil right up to the point he took 30 less to go elsewhere. And THEN he is quitter a bum? The expression true colors tends to mean...showed us that the version of so and so we knew was fake. In that sense of true colors...Gilbert was the the one who showed me all I needed to know....and my thoughts were...wow...perhaps behind the scenes Gilbert actually made it easier to leave not harder.

But in the sense of what ture colors should mean....I like the version I have of Lebron now...because I never thought I would see a superstar chose a smaller market with less guaranteed cash by a large margin to pick the place he felt gives him the best chance to win. Want to be mad at someone? Pick Bosh! Had Bosh not been weded to Wade then what? Would he have chosen us if Bosh was open to coming here? We had the best pieces to make another trade for a big three...or big 4 if Lopez continues to where we think he is going. Then what?

DAMN YOU CHRIS BOSH>>>LOL!

you cannot deny the way he handled this was wrong, he hosed the city of Cleveland and Cavs fans everywhere...

great decision by LBJ...its an easy decision if you're interested in championships, everything else is collateral damage, that you cant worry about...Again IF, you break ties and went your own way while giving the organization and fans the respect and professionalism they deserve...

Instead they got Jeopardy!

JJ...he was extrmely professional last night. Did you watch it? He came off fantastic. Why would having him release a statement with no chance of anyone seeing him answer questions about it have been better? I think the idea of the press conference bothers people so much that they still arent processing that...it actually WAS a good idea. It actually worked. I didnt think he would have...but it did. It was the best of a bad situatiuon. Media made this thing a frenzy. Not him. This wasnt Michale Jackson walking around with a mask on. This was media exploiting the big topic of the moment. Did Tiger Woods do worse to his family than Shawn Kemp or any other pro athelte? No. But you prceive it as a bigger deal because it was night and day non stop.

And as for hosing the city of Cleveland and its fans....how so? Why is at any worse than Bosh and Toronto? Than Amare and the Suns? Than Boozer for the second time in his career? This is free agency. It is not his fault he is BIGGER and BETTER and more coveted. He has the same rights as anyone else. Its his life...his career.

And had he chosen us...we wouldnt be saying...damn...he really screwed Cleveland. It wouldnt be the topic in any of our board threads right now.
